Very excited for this episode... I wasn't disappointed!! As you rightly say "It's all part of the adventure" but you have an admirable calm and matter of fact acceptance that these things can happen and invariably do! Waiting for the next instalment!! Brilliant and thank you for all the hard work that goes into making these videos for our pleasure.
Chefchoen is one of the hardest places to navigate...Marrakech is about the same. Horrendous..but the rest of Morocco is a breeze. Persevere and you will have a fantastic time. Morocco is wonderful and the food is delicious. I'm jealous. Wish I was there. Just enjoy all that Morocco brings 😊
Hi Vicky, thank you so much for watching and commenting! 😊 I don’t think I have ever been so lost as in those two places!! I have completely fallen in love with Morocco and yes, totally amazing food 😊
Hey Steve, we have lots of sandstorms here in Arizona and been caught a few times in strong winds. You just have to make sure you cover your mouth and nose as it could cause valley fever, which are sand spores within your lungs. You can actually become very ill if you’re not careful. Love your videos mate. Travel safe @!
Hi there! So glad you are enjoying the videos. The sandstorm was a whole new experience for me and I can certainly believe the health issues. The stuff gets absolutely everywhere!! Thank you so much for watching 😊
What a brilliant video they just get better. Many thanks for sharing. I think the only thing that would worry me the most is leaving my bike in the street
Hi Andy, thank you, so glad you are enjoying them. Yes, it's a bit worrying at times leaving the bike on the street (especially as the insurance you have to buy over there is only third party) - it's a case of fingers crossed and hope it all works out!
Hi Steve another great episode, don’t think your special by getting scammed, we have all been there at some time, looking forward to next episode, regards peter
Thanks Peter, so glad you enjoyed it! It has certainly been a steep learning curve regarding that kind of stuff but definitely all part of the experience! Thanks for watching 🙂
Great video Steve! Another very honest adventure captured. The place looks amazing and I am looking forward to the rest. The sandstorm choice of music was perfect too.
Thank you my friend, I am so glad you are enjoying them! Thanks re the music... the beauty of writing and recording all the music for the channel means I can try to tailor stuff for the scene; I'm so glad it worked! 😁
Fair play to you matey your banging the miles out great adventure 👍 Marrakesh is a crazy place but awesome too be very careful on the next set of roads they were crazy drivers around there 👍🙏 stay safe ATB Trev
Thanks Trev, I am definitely on a mission with this one and my comfort zone disappeared a long way back! I'm thoroughly enjoying the adventure though and so glad you are enjoying the videos 🙂
Another enjoyable vlog but come on how much did you get stitched for?😂 Ride safe. BTW what was the days mileage, i guess we missed out on the commentary.
Thank you my friend. It's a steep learning curve and that initial lesson relieved me of around £40... It was around 360 miles that day and yes, the commentary bites the dust in that episode. At the end of this day I discover the mic is completely dead so find away of getting by for the rest of the trip, which just about works ok!
Yes, my day job is guitarist/musician/songwriter and all the music featured on my channel has been written and recorded by me... Nice to meet a kindred spirit!🙂
No change in Morocco, still scamming b@@t@@ds in every town wanting your money “ cadeau”!!!! We have been a few times and it doesn’t seem to get better. We found if you are approached “look out scam coming” but if you approach someone they are normally very helpful. Seems at the border they give you large notes knowing you will be asked for tips!!! Small change is frowned upon. Safe trip back to Spain, looking forward to your next video.
Of course it gets better, once there‘s no scam searching tourist to milk. Guess who trained them to be that way for decades and still do? You don‘t have that in most poor countries, some, though, but not everywhere and not everywhere in morocco either. Clearly, it‘s been pushed by the ones that complain about it.

great adventure. sand blowing across your vision a new one on me!
Thank you! It was certainly a first for me! That combined with the wind made for quite a ride…!

It is certainly a learning curve! Yes, I have noticed that if I reach out for help it is very generously given…. All part of the experience. 😊
