Such a great island, with some of the nicest, most laid back people I've ever met. When I want to feel relaxed, I just think back to the week I spent exploring Anguilla, the amazing sunsets, crystal blue water, and friendly people. Seriously, total strangers waved to us all the time.
Don't ever change, Anguilla. Don't let the big corporations come in and take over, or try to cater to the millionaire yachts. You guys have a great thing going, and your culture is perfect as is.

Love this! I’ll be in Anguilla for 6 hours during a day trip. Do you recommend I rent a Moke or just have a taxi take me to Shoal Bay? I was just wondering would the rental process and driving on my own cut into my short time.
We would recommend organizing a rental car with Island Car Rentals. They are excellent and will get you set up so quickly 🥰🥰 They are also an Anguilla Card Partner, so you save 10% with them when you use your Anguilla Card. You should. The island have 33 beaches. Best water and so much food. Very little crime and the people are wonderful. It is a hidden gem. They are currently Covid free. Kinda hard to get there now since they closed their border. Hopefully next year I will be back. I travel every two to three years to Anguilla. Carnival season, the first weekend in August is an experience. The islands shuts down for a week just to party.
