Hey everyone! Just wanted to mention that a couple of the lakes where I said I didn't have moose, I did end up finding moose there so please make sure to check EVERY water source LEFT of the line on the map in the video to ensure that you find ALL of your Moose Drink Zones!
I've been extremely obsessed with your videos lately, they've been so helpful with allowing me to better understand the game and how to properly farm for diamonds and rares/Great Ones. I've spent the last two days or so running around Layton Lakes, finding as many drink spots for moose as I can. Today, while exploring, I spotted a level 5 Moose. I've been very careful not to shoot anything, just in case, but I saw the 5 and went for it. Turns out the very first moose I've ever shot was a diamond!!
Hey Lady, great layton Moose grinding guide that also can be applied to any moose map. You explicitly answered a lot of grinding questions that a lot of people have. My best Layton trophy is a 10 Fabled Birch GO with a huge paddle rack scored 284.09. Took about 1k kills, he was in the lake distrct. One thing I've noticed is that all my 6 GO Moose( on all 5 different maps) were in zones with 2 bulls and 2 cows. The zone I got my GO in I had shot down to level 2's, but I kept it going and ended up with a GO there. Good luck!
I have 6 great ones 2 whitetail 2 Fallow and 2 red deer my first great one red deer was only like 5 kills in and it spawned totally caught me by surprise, i am going to try and do a moose grind now and the info you supplied will be real helpful and i started like 3 moose grinds but got discouraged everytime i think they are so much more harder to keep grinding on guess the whole having to chase them all the time without heart shots is what gets me but thanks to the info on this video this grind at layton looks manageable for me gonna try it out thanks again LL, oh and one time when i was playing multiplayer you hunted at my map for awhile!

my best moose trophy is probably my initial spawn albino gold from revontuli, i don't recall the exact score tho. i haven't done much moose hunting so i've only come across one diamond and it got botched somehow with a spine shot when i was really close and zero'd correct. I wouldn't call these good trophies, just funny, but I just got NEM and i've found like 5 of the exact same tiny split rack moose all within half an hour of playing running down the river, like almost back to back. one antler is wide ish and the other is pointy, but they're the exact same rack??? each one is always on the same side, couldn't help but laugh like its soooo tiny, and all the tiny racks are this split rack, all the " big " racks are also those long narrow paddle looking ones for some reason, i've only found a couple different moose racks but i've killed like 40 initial spawn moose 😂 Edit: Lmao you found the rack i was talking about at 7:25, i had a bunch of duplicates of that rack really close together
Hey lady, I assume same tactic can be used on all grinds. I have decided to check all of my bear zones (SRP). I used to spawn lvl 9 approx every 120kill, but then I somehow got female on my lake and I got lvl 9 after 200kills. So that was reason why I decided to do it properly. So far I have 3x lvl6+ on exterior zones, still havent checked 3lakes and I am missing 4bears (shot during night, didnt found during day). It took me A LOT of time maybe 40hrs and like 0,5mil credits spent on changing time. I cant wait to have it fixed. I dont wanna spend another 40hours because of those 3x lvl6 so I think I will just leave them and those 4bears hopefully wont make any issues. Maybe after killing few diamonds I might go for it. If I will get some bad results. I dunno :( Its very frustrating :(

Anyone else find it creepy that wherever you go, and whatever you do, and anytime of day in CotW…. There’s always someone (or sometimes 2) people who know exactly where you are and exactly what you are doing?
@@LadyLegendXO Just being facetious, but all the inhabitants of the reserves know exactly where and when you complete a mission for them, and the boss knows where you are when they send track coordinates… the guy in Rancho even mentioned being able to see me.

A GO can spawn off any male killed so it doesn’t matter if you shot small or large males (not talking about HM).
Not according to ibuypremiums who has over 150 great ones

I’ve been playing for two days and I dropped a diamond moose after 6 hours of playing on my first day
I have found pretty much all my moose zones and i barley have any good herd zones to set up on

As many as you can. It's not based on numbers. As soon as all of your exteriors are shot down, you can shoot the diamonds.
