Brilliant review as always - Sofirn are definitely one of the best budget flashlights on the market - Wurrkos are my favourite though for bang for your buck!

I'm with you on that, I usually prefer Wurkkos, but Sofirn has some great lights too. I believe Sofirn actually makes the lights for Wurkkos!

Do you find that the light throttles down the output during night walks/ hiking?? Like how long could it sustain a bright output (non turbo) before dimming to lower heat production? It definitely seems bright enough for night hikes as long as it can sustain it for 30min-1hour or so.

Yes, it does tend to throttle fairly quickly and won't last on turbo for 30 minutes let alone 10, but that being said it's perfectly bright for my night walks in a suburban neighborhood and only when I need do I activate turbo.

Looks like an ideal light for night walks. Enough of a hotspot for seeing 50m ahead and plenty of flood for seeing what's at your feet and right around you.

Yes, it's a great light for walking at night. I do wish the hotspot was just a smidge tighter and the throw a little further, but that being said it still works VERY well.

This light is amazing for it's size, it just heats up a little bit quickly because of that. I still love it though!

It serves to me as my go to the bathroom on the middle of the night light, and i leave it on moon light all the night i only need to charge it ones a month
