I love your growth, progress, and process! 😊 I just started the Mastery program. Watching your process excites me! Your paintings are so beautiful, and I appreciate the vlogs you spend time creating. Please keep making videos. You are a beautiful soul. 💖 Thank you, Charlotte!

Oh oohh..

This piece is absolutely beautiful! I watched your 3 month update on the Mastery Program and I’m so interested in taking it. Question… since it’s been a while since you’ve been done would you still recommend it?

Wow, Charlotte, that was really wonderful to watch. It is looking really beautiful. Thank you for sharing your process, and for all the work that went into filming and editing this video. I really appreciate it, especially as someone who is in the Mastery program myself, but not at this stage yet. I have learned a lot. I was wondering whether you paint more than one painting at a time so you have something to work on in between drying time. Have a fabulous week and I look forward to seeing the completed painting whenever it is complete, and to seeing what else you have to share!

Thank you! Yes, I usually work on at leats two or three paintings at the same time. (Sometimes more!) It is super helpful in the early stages especially as those layers (modeling paste, gesso, and acrylics) will typically dry within an hour or two. I will work on a different piece while my painting is drying and then move on to the next layer that same day if possible. I hope you have a great week too!

Wow! This is absolutely gorgeous Charlotte! Thank you for taking so much time to put this video together. I really enjoyed every second. Quick questions, for you: What is that large bushy brush I see you using a few times for the background?? And question number 2: what are the tiny brushes you used for the eye lashes? Thank you in advance. :)

Thank you so much! I used a big variety of brushes but I'll try my best to list the main ones I used for the background and the ones I used for the eyelashes: The first big brush I used for the gesso layer is by “Blick Mega Golden Taklon Brushes”. It is a “Mega Filbert in size 40.
The main brush I used for the acrylic background is by “Princeton Aspen Series 6500 Synthetic Brushes”. It is their “Aspen Synthetic Brush, Long Handle” and its is a filbert in size 12.
The black brush I used a lot for glazing and the background is by “Black Swan Synthetic Red Sable Brushes” (size 16 filbert). This is one of my favourite brush brands. The brushes are super soft and are great for glazing. I bought them in a set (set of 23 brushes from Jerry’s Artarama) and absolutely love them!
I can’t quite make out what exact ones I used for the eyelashes but it looks like a combination of a double 0 round brush by “Princeton Aspen Series 6500 Synthetic Brushes”. This one is small and stiff which provides some control. Some small brushes from the “Black Swan Synthetic Red Sable Brushes” series (I think a size 0 filbert and a size 4 flat). And a combination of brushes from “Utrecht Manglon Synthetic Brushes”, I think a size 2 round brush and a size 8 flat brush.
      I hope that is helpful!

Hi! Yes, but usually just for a quick study. I love working in layers for most of my paintings ✨
