Here Swami Ji's followers should not follow his 'only sayings' what he says anything about 'Sai Baba', as Swami ji is taking turn to wrong path only when saying anything about 'Sai Baba'. इथला समाज देवाधर्माच्या बाबतीत भोळा आहे हे खरेच आहे!
जेव्हा देवाधर्माच्या नावाखाली अनेक अवैज्ञानिक आणि भोंदूगिरीच्या गोष्टी चालू राहतात तेव्हा त्यांच्यात बदल व्हावा आणि श्रद्धेच्या नावाखाली त्यांची चाललेली लुबाडणूक त्यांच्या लक्षात आणून द्यावी म्हणून खूप प्रयत्न केले जातात.
बऱ्याच वेळा अगदी पुराव्यासहित त्यांना जेव्हा हे दाखवून दिले जाते की तुम्ही जी बाळगता ती श्रद्धा म्हणजेच अंधश्रद्धा आहे तेव्हा ते बदलतील असे आपल्याला वाटते. पण तसे घडत नाही.
घडते उलटेच. ते त्यांच्या श्रद्धा आणि अंधश्रद्धा आणखीन घट्ट धरून बसतात. त्याचे कारण आहे..

बॅक फायर इफेक्ट म्हणजे उलटलेला परिणाम. जेव्हा आपण एका धर्मात वाढतो किंवा एका पक्षात दीर्घकाळ राहतो किंवा आपण ठराविक व्यक्तींच्या सहवासात राहतो तेव्हा त्यांच्याविषयीच्या समजुती आपण मनात बाळगलेल्या असतात. या समजूती खऱ्या की खोट्या, चुकीच्या की बरोबर, हे तपासून पाहिलेले नसते. मग अशावेळी त्या समजूतींना, सतत खतपाणी घालेल असे जर त्यांनी संपर्कात ठेवलेल्या समूहाकडून घडत असेल तर त्यांच्या समजूती घट्ट होत जातात. जर त्यांना त्यांच्या समजुतींच्या विरुद्ध काही पुरावे दाखवून त्या समजूती चुकीच्या कशा आहेत हे सातत्याने न सांगता कधीतरी दाखवून दिले किंवा अत्यंत कमी काळात दाखवून दिले किंवा कमी वेळा दाखवून दिले तर त्यांच्या त्या समजूतींना धक्का पोहोचलेला सहन होत नाही. किंवा त्याला महत्त्व ते देत नाहीत. त्यांच्या समजुती टिकवून घट्ट करणारे आजुबाजुला बहुसंख्य असतील तर कधीतरी, अल्पसंख्यने, समजूती दूर करण्याचा प्रयत्न करणार्यांना ती व्यक्ती ठोकरून देते. आणि आपल्या समजूती खऱ्याच आहेत असे समजून ती त्या घट्टपणे पकडून ठेवायला सुरुवात करते.
संशोधनात असे आढळून आलेले आहे की ज्या समजूती या जास्त भावनिक आणि विशिष्ट कल्पना करून निर्माण झालेल्या असतात त्या लवकर सुटत नाहीत.
आणखी एक कारण त्यामागे असते. जेव्हा या समजूती घट्ट धरून ठेवलेल्या असतात तेव्हा त्या समजुतींमुळे आपण सुरक्षित आहोत अशी भावना निर्माण झालेली असते. त्यामुळे जर कोणी विरोधी पुरावे दाखवू लागला तर त्याला असुरक्षित वाटू लागते आणि त्यामुळे आत्मविश्वास कमी होईल अशी भीती त्याला वाटू लागते.
उपाय काय याच्यावर ?
जेव्हा समोरच्याच्या समजुती घट्ट असतात तेव्हा त्या समजूती निर्माण होण्यामागील कारणे ही प्रथम शोधून काढावी लागतात. आणि त्या कारणांचा निरास करण्यासाठी पुरावे किंवा सक्षम दावे केले तरी त्यांना योग्य तो पर्याय उपलब्ध करून द्यावा लागतो. तो जर दिला गेला नाही तर त्या व्यक्ती त्यांच्या समजूतींच्या वाळूमध्ये आणखी खोलवर डोके खुपसून बसतात.
समाज मानसतज्ञ लिऑन फेस्टिंगर आणि त्याच्या दोन सहकाऱ्यांनी २१ डिसेंबरला जगाचा शेवट होणार आहे असे मानणाऱ्या डुमस डे कल्ट च्या सर्व भक्तांबरोबर २१ डिसेंबर पर्यंत व नंतर काही दिवस प्रत्यक्षात राहून काही निरीक्षणे नोंदविली आहेत. २१ डिसेंबर झाल्यानंतर जगाचा शेवट झाला नाही असे त्यांना जरी सांगितले तरी बहुसंख्य सदस्य हे शेवटपर्यंत म्हणत राहिले की, आम्ही इथेच थांबू आणि जगाचा शेवट होईल तेव्हा मरू.
मानव जात ही वास्तव जगातल्या गोष्टी स्वीकारण्यासाठी मनामध्ये एक अशी मानसिक अवस्था निर्माण करून ठेवते की जी त्याला त्या वास्तव जगात जगू शकू असे वाटेल. थोडक्यात, परिसर आणि आपण एकत्र आहोत अशी भावना सतत जागवत ठेवावीशी वाटते.
मेंदूतील काही संशोधनातून सिद्धांत मांडण्यात आले आहेत. आणि त्यामागे 'अटेंशनल बायस ऑफ रिवॉर्ड लर्निंग' असे कारण आढळले आहे.
*"द स्ट्रक्चर ऑफ सायंटिफिक रेवोल्युशन" या पुस्तकाचा लेखक थॉमस कुन्ह म्हणतो की, समजूतीं मध्ये बदल घडवायचा असेल तर मेंदूच्या कार्य करणाऱ्या सर्व भागांच्या कार्यप्रणालीला प्रशिक्षण देणे योग्य ठरेल.*
..आणि ही सर्वात अवघड गोष्ट असते.
वैज्ञानिक सत्य कितीही ओरडून सांगितले तरी बरेच भक्त भक्ति मध्ये आणखीनच गुंग होऊन तल्लीन होतात त्याच्या मागचे कारण आहे बॅक फायर इफेक्ट किंवा स्वतःच्या समजुती जतन करून ठेवणे!!
