Since I sometimes get questions about the characters in the image, I decided to look it up beforehand this time. The left one is Konno Yuuki, and the one to the right is Yuuki Asuna, both from the Sword Art Online series.
Although Konno Yuuki here is a fictional character, i still felt sorry for her... As you can see from her smile...it may seems like everything is fine for her...but the truth is, she has been fighting her desease (AIDS) for about 15 years throughout her life... the only reason that allowing her to put that beautiful smile is just to say that she is fine/don't worry 'bout her...but inside, she's suffering... in the end, she passed away in her dearest friend's arm, Yuuki Asuna...
