Brexit was supposed to take back control, but resulted in record immigration - all they really wanted was deregulation so that foreign water, energy, train, fuel, tech companies could fleece us. This is no different. Similarly, Rishi doesn't like having to accept responsibility for failure to address climate change, and earlier this week the ECHR set up new regulations. THIS is why he's so keen to leave.

The Lisbon Treaty requires the EU to become subject to the ECHR but the EU Court struck it down because they didn’t want the EU to be answerable to a non-EU court!
