Merhav Am - The children are the future of the Negev

KKL-JNF in cooperation with the OR Movement is planning to develop three play yard areas at a day care center at Merhav Am. This religious community, deep in the Negev, comprises 50 families with some 150 children. As its name indicates, (Merchav, wide open spaces), the community is distinguished by its relative isolation from towns or cities.
JNF Western Australia adopts Merhav Am.
