I would like to add some information about connections in ATM, so theese are Transmission Path, Virtual Path and Virtual Circuit.
Transmission Path -- is real physical connection that trasmits data from point A to point B
Virtual Path -- is logical channel, that is created under "Transmission path" and represents logical connection between point A and point B
Virtual curcuit -- is logical connection, which identifies the stream of data in virtual path. Virtual curcuit is created under Virtual Path
