I'm one of the members of the guardia di finanza boat. it was nice to know your youtube channel so ... i watched all the videos you posted and they are beautiful ... good wind guys
Mate as a former dog owner at the time living on a farm you are doing the absolute right thing finding a new home for Yoshi, he’s not going forget you but he’ll be a lot happier doing doggie things on dry land. You have my total support for what must have been a very difficult decision , if I could subscribe again I would 😀
I have a feeling a lot of people are just sad to see Yoshi go. From this end, he's nothing but fun. Even when he's barking, it's just fun and laughs when watching the channel. He's a little character for sure. But he's obviously stressed out and they're stressed out trying to take care of him while living aboard. Can't blame them.
I seem to remember you rescued Yoshi in the first place, took him on board with some trepidation and have clearly given him the best chance to settle. If it hasn't worked and you're still working to find a safe and happy home for him then that puts you way up there in the pet care stakes. Good on you.
You will always have my heart and support for taking Yoshi on, people may have forgotten he was in an abusive situation and you saved him from that. You both showed him love now it time for him to have his adventure.
@@WildlingSailing All very laudable, Yoshi obviously adores you two, total loyalty. However, it seems strange as soon as you acquire new friends Yoshi has to go where is the loyalty on your part? Yoshi was the best part of this channel the rest is total incompetence.
You went above and beyond to rescue Yoshi in the first place. Don't let others make you feel guilty for finding him a more appropriate home. Keep up the great work.
Yoshi had some great times traveling with you two. He was living on the streets, you gave him a home and now found him a home on land. Cheers to that. Best for Yoshi and probably for you two as well.
I am sorry if your face was cut up go Yoshi really? That dog and I a long last walk if ever had a dog bite my wife or children. They gave him a chance and didn’t control him ever. They gave him a chance to bad they didn’t read up on training dogs. That’s not on them Yoshi is one of the most undisciplined dogs I seen. So confused Yoshi. A farm chasing rats that’s a ferrel dog. Look I agree also Yoshi needs more then this couple can give him at this time. Not bad on them. That dog would not be alive if it bit my wife or kids. Not bad on this couple passion is best way to be. But second bite may be death as a confused dog makes that kill.
Well done to both of you. You gave Yoshi better life than he had in France and now hopefully he’s going to an even better home. A hard decision for both of you but I think it is the right one.
So sad you're getting slated for finding Joshie a better suited home. It's the biggest act of love you can do for your pet if you know he'll be happier. I will hunt for more subs for you!
I am so happy that you may have found a forever home for Yoshi. You gave him a home when he was in a bad way. Not many people would do that on land let alone on a new to you boat. I fostered dogs for years and everyone of them was special in their own way. I would always shed a tear or 100 when it was time for the new family to welcome my foster friend. But when I would hear how the dogs had grown with their new family, I was happy to be part of their journey. Please remember you are a very I important part of Yoshi’s journey to find his forever family!
Agreed. People seem to forget that they took him in first. No one knew how it would go and everyone pushed them to make him a boat dog. The reality is that even if Yoshi is OK on the boat, it's not he same as having space to run. It's so much better to try to find him a home. It just feels like people don't think things through lol
Not really didn’t toshi bite his wife on her face? If a legend cut your face be a legend. Look they took on a dog and didn’t know how to train a dog. If toshi bites again kills a young child what a legend
Really this is just smart. Dog bit his wife dog needs to go. Good on them as that dog would be last walk with me. Next bite may kill your child. Yoshi needs more then this young couple can give. Sit and stay is when dogs know about respect. Do you know respect? Yes I think so. Feelings is not understanding
How cool is that! the Guardia checking to see if your safe and now their followers. Buddy boating is a lot of fun, sharing experiences as well socially enjoyable. Keep sailing the dream.
So glad you are enjoying my homeland! I think it is very responsible of you to rehome yoshi, I have had dogs my entire life and some are travelers and some are not. I have had dogs that I can not get into my jeep and some that won't let me leave without them. You have given yoshi a great adventure and now it's time to let him enjoy a nice leisurely retirement on solid land. Love the channel and the both of you.
Please don't take the criticisms about Yoshi too much to heart. Those of us who have been with you a while remember how he came to be with you, his history and the fact that it was only ever a temporary situation. You are doing the right thing for Yoshi, putting his needs before yours. Also, I'm pretty sure that those who decided to unsubscribe as a protest didn't look forward to your uploads every week as most of us do and it's almost certain that they didn't tune in just to watch Yoshi. You'll miss the little nuisance for sure but he definitely would thank you, if he could, once he's able to run around to his hearts content in his new home. We love what you're doing so please just keep doing it... 😊🐬⛵️ (Philip Slaney)
You took Yoshi in and now you are finding him a a better situation with a nice home. Some people are just unreasonable but it's a fact nobody can please all the people all of the time. We can tell you love Yoshi and are doing the best for him. God bless you, good sailing always.
You did great with Yoshi, you rescued him, gave him a home, and now you found a new home for Yoshi. That is caring! Keep going; I want to see more. Happy sailing.
You two have done well with Yoshi. Thank you for giving him a chance at boat life. Yet, I know boats and dogs are not easy to manage together. Thank you for doing the right thing once you made the decision that Yoshi’s life could be better on land. All is well! Take care and ove yourself through this transition. And I love to see your videos pop up on my screen. It just means another wonderful ride/sail with you. Namaste.
MARK, YOU HAVE DONE AMAZING THINGS FOR THAT DOG!!!! He crowed his way into your life, and you did everything imaginable to give him a home. But alas, as that has proved impossible, you have showed profound wisdom, and sought out help from your supporters. That two have come forward to help you find a more functional environment for him will be a substantial benefit for everyone, ESPECIALLY the dog. Remember, he would never have been suitable anywhere, if it were not for the profound patience, and affection you both have shown. YOU have given that unstable animal enough basic training and stability to be suitable to anyone else. It is profound wisdom to do the hard things. I am really good with dogs, but dumbfounded with what you have done. GOOD ON YOU!!!
People that unsubscribe aren’t able to see the Forrest for the trees. A boat is no place for a pet really. You rescued a street dog and fostered him until you found a forever home that suits yoshi. I think you’re to be commended.
You made the right decision for Yoshi. I’m positive he will be a lot happier have a large place to roam around. Good luck stay healthy and as always be safe.
You aren't the only, the first or the last that understand that an animal is a lot of responsibility, care, etc...cheers guys. If this is what you guys need, then it's all good.
I admire how you have taken yoshi in and gave him a new chance! It’s a selfless thing to do by trying to better his situation further - putting his needs above yours, so ignore those thoughtless and simple comments from other people - good on you all (+yoshi)👍
Another relaxing video production...very nice! For those who criticize your decision to find Yoshi a new home, please watch all the videos when you were agonizing over the decision to help him out. As I recall he was a "street" dog without a home or caretaker in that old boat yard. You guys liked him but you were also concerned that boat life might not be right for him for a variety of reasons. You decided to be a temporary bridge for him until a better home was found with the possibility of keeping him forever if it was a prefect match on your boat. We will miss seeing him, you guys will miss him and he will miss you but dogs are very resilient and Yoshi will love his new family on a farm where he can dig in the ground and run around all day. It's a win win for everyone but of course there is also some sadness. Cheers!
I too remember was hoping Yoshi find a new home. And that that took him on was great. The fact is Yoshi needs discipline not physically just no yelling fire in movie theater type.
Some of us remembers when the situation with Yoshi wasn't set in "Stone"...I know it must have been hard for the little one,, but you did your best and now he has a proper home. I thought this video was really nice ,, the Sky was really beautiful and whilst you all walked through the little village was so 👍...Thanks Wilding Sailing.
You guys made what was surely a tough decision to provide a good life for your boy Yoshi. Forget what those mean people say. I've been in the field of animal welfare/adoption and animal cruelty investigations for 10 years and it always bothers me when people get slandered for making the very mature decision of acknowledging that perhaps they are not the best fit for the dog. It's cheap & dirty to "kick someone when they're down". Sometimes or paths bring us together even if only temporarily. You took him away from street dog life and gave him love, nourishment and adventure & now you're sending him further along on his journey. Good for you!
Yeh, I think you guys are doing what's best for Yoshi. And you are the ones best to judge what is best for him. We know you love him. You gave him a chance to have a better life and trust in people again.
ah crutone looks lovely! :) and totally understandable for Yoshi!! congratulations and ty for taking the time to find him a new home. don't sweat losing subscribers. you can't please everyone. For me, I'm just happy you guys thought about his needs even though it was stressful. it says alot about you as people
Always enjoyed your channel, from the earliest days. The only sailing channel I never miss, when I have internet. You are doing the right thing with the dog. He actually seems remarkably well adjusted, after a sketchy past, you did him good. A boat cannot possibly be a dog's ideal territory, so quite an achievement. As a kid, I found that when my dog was my best friend. We went everywhere. He got a bit snappy, exploring boundaries through a bit of rough and tumble play and I just bit him back. Seemed the obvious response. He certainly didn't seem surprised, as if he somehow expected it and understood it. No problems after that, we had mutual respect and trusted each other. The hills and the woods were our natural habitat. Still is, come to think of it.
Been watching you guys for a while and really enjoy your channel. I like they way you guys have such a positive attitude, great sense of humour and give everything a go (what we would call a 'Number 8 wire' mentality here in New Zealand). I have a 7m trailer sailer that I sail with the family and can certainly relate to many of the boat 'issues' you have experienced.......motors, leaks, rigging, fibreglass etc etc etc! So keep it up, I love your old boat and the frugal life and to be honest do not watch channels with million dollar cats, partys, clickbait drama etc......but thats just me.
Well done and well said Mark, putting the dogs interests first. You both seem much more at ease withe the vessel as your confidence has grown; and you hardly even mention the engine now! LOL😄
Mark and Natiana, we applaud you for making the decision to have Yoshi live the live HE needs to live and not be selfish in making decisions based on pressure. We have a small dog that we are trying to "rehome" since we do not think that is fair to ask him to take on our dream. Dogs can sail, but not all dogs sail well. So the decision to have someone else take him that will love him as much as you do is a blessing to Yoshi.
You guys are doing the right thing. I have been around boats and dogs and yoshi is not the right dog for you and your situation. I could see yoshi is not happy. Don't worrie about haters and controllers. You are doing the right thing. Love you guys, keep sailing!
Great episode guys, you are so right about your two sailing buddies. I think they have seemingly made you guys more positive, not sure why but that’s the vibe I get that you are happier, more confident. That looked like a super place to visit, lovely people, makes all the difference. Also hats off to you for sponsoring your mate and breaking his marina virginity lol' love that line. So very glad you have hopefully found a better home for Joshi. I’m sure he will be fine and will live out the rest of his life ashore but he will still be a pirate at heart! Stay safe guys. Andy UK
good pay or not , boats always take 50% to keep sea safe. then insurance for boat and crew lift outs , bottom paint , electrics , mast and rigging , sails to repair or replace, sheets halyards anchor and chain . winches ,windlass , IS THAT BOAT DRAGGING, ARE WE DRAGGING? laptops ,cameras. 24 months damp and salt air all had it! (YOUVE ALL DONE VERY WELL) (THANK YOU MR GRACE) your maddness keeps some of us sane. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. KEEP ON KEEPING ON, FAIR WINDS SAFE PASSAGE
If living on a boat isn't Yoshi's best life, then it's a good thing you're finding him a new home. He should be in the environment that suits him better. It's a loving thing to let him go.
you did the best thing for the dog so let people be mad do they want you to tell them how to run their life You are good honest people and I enjoy watching you
Guys dont beat yourself up, its hard enough giving up a pet. You rescued Yoshi, gave him a better life and now want an even better life for him, what's wrong with that? Some people just cant help themselves. You keep going youre doing what's right for Yoshi and you, and that's fine in my book. Its not like your chucking him in Battersea dogs home. You've been in a few battles over the last year or so, glad youre enjoying what you set out to do, some great sailing. Never say die attitude is was I love more than anything watching your channel, youre both inspiring.
It is always great to have friends on your adventures. I did reply about Yoshi. Nothing but love for you two. You did him a great service by rescuing him. I hope you visit him at some time. Me ... I am in for the long haul keep sailing!!!
I think you finding him a home that he will be happy in, is amazing..good for you guys. Don't know why anyone would think otherwise. Great episode guys, you have the best channel in the sailing world.Take care and be safe.😎👍👍
Great video this week. I watch regularly because you are just a proper normal English dude living his best life and you and Nadiana (sorry if i spelt it wrong) make a great couple. Love her cheery and positive attitude. You are making the right decision re Yoshi, despite it being a tough one it is made from the heart.
Guys, absolutely agree you’ve done the right thing with yoshi. Why on earth would anyone be unhappy with a dog that has owners who try and succeed in finding him a better home. You guys rescued him from a poor life, gave him a better life and after biting nadiana, found him what sounds a great life on dry land👏👏👏👏👏
I am so glad you found Crotone, it seemed to have all things you liked without all the yoghurt pots racing around, you are doing the right thing for Yosi and that is all that matters. X
I watched ONE of your vids... when you first bought this boat. And decided that the massive refit wasn't for me. So now I need to catch up on your actually SAILING stuff! Now subbed!
I'm one of the people who said "if you value your freedom, do not take on a pet. " In Australia we call Yoshi's breed, rat dog. They were bred to control rats and are full of energy and aggression. Again if you value your freedom, don't have a pet at all. You're doing the right thing trying to find a good home. Take care and enjoy, Paul.(35 year veteran cruiser)
I loved your video. I don't think you are abandoning Yoshi. You are doing him a favor. Forget about the negativity. If you lost subscribers from it they were not your true watchers anyway. There are always people with opinions. I am 65 years old and as you two get older you will learn to just ignore the negative people out there. They just drag you down. Enjoy your lives and keep doing what you are doing. I love it.
You doing a good thing for joshi, you rescued him ,gave hime a better life and now his next land adventure begins..forget the couch Karen's and the neg opinions, live your life you want not the life of other people trying to control your direction..👍up for another great episode ,...
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. We understand about Yoshi. He has become much calmer than when he first came aboard but it is difficult to have a dog on a boat. Even cats are a BIG responsibility. You are doing what is best for Yoshi and best for you. It's great that some nice people have offered to give him a new home. Love to all.
Marine virgin 😂😂😂❤ always very nice and light to see your videos. Sailing with friend gives you much support. Joshi deserves a good home he has been lucky to have found you.
Italy is so nice. Thank you for showing its beauty. After the Guardian , the Guardia di Finanza is following you! OMG, you're amazing! Something about you and the guards. Hehe. Panko (literally breadcrumbs) all the way!
I can understand completely about Sushi needing to live ashore. He is such an active little guy, having the wide open spaces to run and jump around will keep him forever young in your hearts! Sailing with your friends has really been fun for we viewers and hope you can continue. BTW, I’ve said it before, but Nadiana is adorable!
Hello folks 👋, always great to see the good people of Wildlings Sailing ⛵️. So glad that you're making this crossing with a convoy of sailing ⛵️ friends, and it looks like you're having a great time so far. Shout-out to the Yunnan Cowgirl, you always make things look so delicious in the kitchen 😋. Congratulations Mark on finding a potential good home for Yoshi, I'm sure that everything will work out ok and that you will have peace about leaving him in the care of his new family. I pray that Nadiyana never experiences anything like that ever again. Loved this video, thanks for sharing, keep 'em coming and safe travels 🙏
Props for helping Yoshi live his best life. Keeping him on a boat, where he is not able to run and be himself, would be selfish and cruel. You guys will always have memories and know he will be happy.
What you are doing for the dog is a good thing. I am sure he will like his new home. Of course it will be hard on the two of you. I know you will miss him a lot.
Good on you for rescuing Yoshi in the first place, and I agree that he needs space to run he's a high energy dog and would do better on land, it's easy for people to criticize what they don't understand. Your wonderful people.
I have a JR just like Yoshi and I go boating and you are right….. boats are not the natural habitat for small terriers. I have loved watching him and shall miss his antics a lot… JR Cooper sends his best wishes
Your doing the right thing with your dog, you won't please all the people all the time ever, it's not your fault it's just the internet and a lot of different outlooks , have fun sailing 😊 God bless
Love watching you're adventures 💜 Learning alot from ya'll over the past year... but not left the UK coast line yet. Leaving for the Med in March- April. Hopefully see ya'll around and I'll overtake you and leave you in my waves like your buddy's did 🤪
Do your friends have their own channels or Instagrams? I'd love to follow them to see how they do things single handed. If you hadn't taken Yoshi in he would of been put down, you guys have always done what you thought was best for him.

I know you are doing what’s best for Yoshi and have taken care of him. You saved him from the streets and now he will continue his adventures. ❤️
LOL😄
Yoshikawa will be much happier on land. You have done the right thing. Happy sailing.
Not abandoning your pooch.... you took him in and onwards to a new and better life. Well done ...have no regrets guys
Yoshi is the luckiest dog in the world. You guys saved his life, and now he’ll be even happier…amongst the trees, green grass and fire hydrants.
I think you were heroes to rescue the dog to begin with and now, finding him a better home, is the right thing too. Best wishes to Yoshi
Always look forward to your videos. Thanks
It's a loving thing to let him go.
you did the best thing for the dog so let people be mad do they want you to tell them how to run their life You are good honest people and I enjoy watching you
Well done guys. Keep up the good work of sharing your adventures.
Aww so happy little yoshi bear has a new home xxxx
I am so glad you found Crotone, it seemed to have all things you liked without all the yoghurt pots racing around, you are doing the right thing for Yosi and that is all that matters. X
I watched ONE of your vids... when you first bought this boat. And decided that the massive refit wasn't for me. So now I need to catch up on your actually SAILING stuff!
Now subbed!
You were smart to pass your pet along. What did for Yoshi was great
The guy who designed your boat was brilliant, and so, I think you bought the right boat, and good luck with the oil leak.
sail on! yoshi is loved and you are doing the right thing for him
And thank you both. Take care.
It’s very brave to let someone you love go, when holding on to them would makes them happy but in your heart of hearts you know it has to be that way.
I love it.
Well said agree entirely mate Marty Australia
Nice video with a great walking show of that town. The narrow pathways made me think you were about to meet up with ancient soldiers any minute.
You doing a good thing for joshi, you rescued him ,gave hime a better life and now his next land adventure begins..forget the couch Karen's and the neg opinions, live your life you want not the life of other people trying to control your direction..👍up for another great episode ,...
Ignore the trolls; they are not worth your time. Every video you post is entertaining and you will soon build up your subscribers.
Corfu and Greece going to be sick episodes!! love the greek islands. cannot wait!!
Nice episode🙂 Interesting to see the fishingshop because I had my own for over 20 years🎣🎣 Fishing and sailing Are great⛵️🐟😃
Marine virgin 😂😂😂❤ always very nice and light to see your videos.
It's great to see the wildlings flotilla doing well.
Absolutely enjoyed this episode. Always a pleasure.
What you have done for Yoshi is admirable.
Glad some one takes in Yoshi so good watching.
Welcome back sailors on the high seas.
I think people are cruel and selfish when they deprive animals of a more natural life. You did the right thing.
Love watching you're adventures 💜
Learning alot from ya'll over the past year... but not left the UK coast line yet.
Check the links in the description, bro. Thanks a lot mate, your kind words mean a lot
@@WildlingSailing thanks, are you guys getting any tattoos from them? You must be due a swallow by now
Thanks!
Such a nice and lucky couple . Good luck to you
You did the right thing finding a new home for the dog. Especially that one. Every time I see the scar on your sweet girls lip....
Your doing the right thing Mark regarding yoshi. He will be much happier on dry land 😉😉
Incredible footage
You know what’s best for Yoshi and you rescued him in the first place, so ignore the haters👍🏼👍🏼It will be sad to see him go though 😢
