You picked a nice spot to set up camp. Very serene. Was that porridge in a pouch that you made?

Thank you Lisa! It was a nice spot to hike to! The meal I had in the pouch was actually beef stroganoff. It is called an MRE (Meal Ready to Eat). It is freeze dried, and all you have to do is add hot water to reactivate it and eat a nice hot meal. It tasted excellent I thought. They are easier to take when backpack camping, lighter with less preparation equipment to make it.
