Thank you so much Sunshine ❤️ That is very sweet, and I am so happy I'm able to give you a slice of Egypt from so far away. Greetings from Egypt, and I hope you have a beautiful day in Arizona P.S. I like your username❤️☀️
Wow, amazing place! I was suprised, that water was so cold and so many big buses was going towards this pools. It seems it is more popular, so high time to visit it. Thank you Giselle for this video!
Wow and wow again.Such a place.I've been in salt lakes in Australia and can testify to the crunchy feeling of drying out.Nice work,staysafe- Haal from Oz.
Really enjoyed this and love your spirit of adventure tempered with good judgement. The scenery was so beautiful. I’m coming back to Egypt for Part Two and this place is on my bucket list.
What an amazing place. It’s very serene and calm. I know you’re only supposed to be in there for 25 minutes, but it looks like a place where you could easily lose track of time and relax. I would be a prune by the time I got out of there. That is so amazing to see how you can just float. It looks like a beautiful place and a great time.
It truly is! The whole Siwa oasis is just enchanting, I love driving through these beautiful little roads lined with date palms, and the sapphire blue waters of these pools and cruising over glittering salt on motorbike....wonderful ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful sights and places i m an american living now in egypt now also in alexandria and i will after seeing this vid will visit Siwa thank you again 🙏🏻😊❤️

Your reactions to the floor of the pool made me laugh out loud so hard. The first time was amusing. The second time, I laughed hard. The third time when you embraced it and tried to give a verbal description... your face whilst doing that made me choke on my coffee. My husband looked at me from his office like I've lost my mind.
I used to bike in FL in my 20s and 30s. The sugary sand is so dangerous. I can't tell you how many times I wiped out. One day, I'm going to have to make it to Siwa, too. It would probably be great for my hip and knees. My trip is hopefully either postponed or it will be for two. (I was afraid for a long time it would only be for one.) My husband got wonderful news at his last scan.
Such a nice video! Next time you can bring a book, newspaper or your notebook and do both at the same time: floating and reading or cutting your video in the water!! 😊 Best way of multitasking! Have a nice evening!!

You're absolutely hilarious!! Loved it. Fascinating, wide open spaces of sparsely populated land with salt mining everywhere. And a town inhabited for that purpose. That water looks amazing, your dip was sweet! Even the spot you picked. Yeah, I was wondering when you picked up that handful of sand; that must be either fantastic or super weird. I guess like a mineral bath times a thousand kind of thing. I would have done the same exact thing; kept my shoes on. Floating was cool! Hopefully your skin felt amazing after that? You need a 2x2, LOL! The other thing I noticed, since no living thing around - no flies? And thank you for the tour!!
Well, I wouldn't say the town is inhabited solely for the purpose of salt mining. I mean, the oasis has been populated since ancient times, and the Berber community has been here for a long time now as well. But it's certainly become more popular in recent years because of social media and the salt pools, and the salt mining is now happening on a larger scale. One thing about the desert I have noticed - flies. No life, yet somehow flies. I just don't get it 😆
Warm during the day, cold at night, that typical desert climate. But if you want to know the specifics, I would google the weekly or hourly weather in Siwa. I have found that to quite accurate, and I rely on it for motorbike trips around the country at any given time of the year.
Nah man, my bike did just fine! I'm just paranoid about getting stuck now because when I first arrived to the oasis I got stuck immediately in a pile of sand, chose the wrong place to park 😅 But actually, while the piles of salt looked very soft, they were a bit harder than I initially expected. It wasn't too hard to drive through it, much better than if it had been sand
Yep it's winter now. It can be visited in winter, but how comfortable you are with the temperature is really more based on you and what temps you are accustomed to/comfortable with. You can google the daily temp in Siwa to see what it is, I have found that to be accurate all over the country, and I use it to plan my motorbike trips/what to pack, etc.
Awesome video would love to visit, but we were advised against travelling so close to the borders by the UK government 😢 and two, our insurance would not cover us...three the girls said that it's too far from Cairo...but I'll just sit and enjoy your vlog instead 😉
Ehh yeah, my government also warns of traveling in the Western Desert, but I rode through there solo with my motorcycle with no issues to reach the Siwa Oasis. But it sounds like there's a few reasons, and it's true it is quite a journey from Cairo. Happy you can at least see it through my videos 🥰 And there's always next time 😎
No....I don't even know what you mean. VR? If that tech was there as a real possibility right now, trust me you would know about it. Hello @Gventures I literally just subscribed to your channel. It’s very informative and helpful. With that being said could you tell me if it’s safe to travel to Egypt now. I would really appreciate if you could answer that for me or actually anyone who knows. Thank in advance
Hi Andrew, thanks man, and welcome to the channel! Egypt is totally safe for travel, do not worry! Are you talking about the U.S. embassy website putting Egypt as a level 3: reconsider travel? Hehehehe, yeah, they have had Egypt on that list since like 2011 or even before, so for the past 14 years or so. As you can see from my weekly vlogs, things are normal here in Egypt. As I am driving around, do things look unsafe to you? Tourists are here right now traveling, taking Nile cruises, diving in the Red Sea, exploring all the ancient sites up and down the Nile. I made a video about safety not that long ago, I'll leave the link here in case you would like to watch it. ruclips.net/video/ZNDQxLwNKaQ/видео.html
