I just ate some ramen. I love mine a little al dente. I like to add seaweed flakes and gochujang usually. I've added cheese before too, or kimchi, veggies or type of meat, like samgyeopsal to really jazz it up.

More info. Jin's "island show" is on MBC World on RUclips. But when it's first posted there are no English subtitles.
I watch it anyway. And then watch it again when the English subtitles come out. I like watching any show Jin is on because he is highly entertaining! His cooking skills have really improved in the area of chopping and dicing veggies. And slicing the protein. Don't watch it when you are hungry. We are spoiled because it's not produced as well as "Run BTS". And they have 3 commentators in a studio making comments while watching the show. As far as I can tell they've been on the show before.
The Kocowa app has it with eng subs.

That drink he was making the I.B.C. was an Iced Bacchus Chilsung Cider - I think the Bacchus was an energy drink. But I have no idea if it tastes good lol
Thank you for this reaction, John! I watch and re-watch all Run Jin episodes - each one has a special aspect to be delighted about. This episode with the kids is so adorable, especially the way the kids surround Jin and heckle him (and him heckling back, lol!) Jin is merciless when gaming and serves the droll comments non-stop. What a happy episode, imagine the stories the kids will bring home.
I like both mild and spicy versions of Jin Ramen. It's a staple in my pantry and an easy go-to on those days when I'm too lazy to cook from scratch. I usually chuck in any leftover meat and veggies, add an egg and hey presto! a nutritious meal in 4 minutes. I used to be a Coke addict (a bottle each meal) but have stopped drinking soft drinks for decades now. Sparkling lime and yuzu soda water or cider sometimes, but usually plain water. I don't game and can never really follow what's going on but I'm thoroughly entertained by the way Jin carries on while gaming.
So impressed with my sweet boy, his goofy and expansive personality carries the show and he will really, really do anything to keep ARMY happy and entertained.
I like how Jin enjoy playing games and the laugh when he wins . I like JIN Ramen Noodle Mild hot spicy .❤
I loved watching this as soon as it came out! I love watching this with you especially because you’re Jin bias and love games too. If you ever catch a livestream of Jin playing games usually at night for him, he makes those sounds and talks to the computer and character all the time! It felt like I was watching his livestream again. He’s done 2 so far. 1 already when he returned from the military. Yes, I haven’t been to one, but that is how PC game places are in Korea. I’m not sure if it’s also like that in Japan. I.B.C. Is an energy drink. For the next episode, I’m excited bc yes, that is the guy from Season 2 of Physical 100. He made it to the final round. I heard from my sister whose husband is Korean and she told my elderly mother to also watch a game show similar to Running Man where that big guy is 1 of the hosts. He’s actually super sweet and funny! So when I saw that he too is on the next ep, I’m hoping I can finally watch something with my mother. We watch Korean shows but separately. I’ve seen a few where I immediately recognized V’s voice and found out the main character is from his Wooga squad. Anyhow, looking forward to watching the next with you John! Borahae! 💜💜💜Wish I could do a meet up whenever you do, but I live in Canada, so even driving would take me oer a week maybe. 🤔

As a Korean, PC bang is PC cafe. In Korean 'Bang' mean is "room" 🙂 In sell a variety of foods. For example ramen, fried food (chicken, French fries, dumplings~~) , snack, and so on 😃

Here's the scoop. At one of the "RunBTS" episodes, the staff served Jin Ramen. Of course, Jin thought that was cool. He looked straight at the BTS camera and said ...I will do a free commercial for Jin Ramen. Guess what happened? They made Jin their brand ambassador. So the company is raking in money now. Of course. It's the #1 Ramen company in Korea. And they sell out Internationally too. Jin rakes in the money for his endorsement! So your hunch was kind of right. Jin Ramen was the sponsor, so they paid for all the food anyway. Free advertising for them.
So when Jin said I'll give you this food on the house to the kid, who he spilled his food.... Really. All the food was already on the house. 😂
My preferred drink is Pepsi. Making Ramen...currently I prefer a kimchi ramen. I slice up some raw bacon and throw it in the water (it boils in as if it were pork belly etc but it is something I always have on hand and so easy to add) and add the spices and veggie packet etc and start it boiling. Then add the noodles and at the end add a slice of processed cheese. In the bowl I put some sesame oil and sliced green onion....this is the basic recipe....then if I am more hungry etc I sometimes add broccoli and rice cakes or dumplings etc to make it more....but mostly I just make my basic recipe

I cant eat spicy food so I buy the mild Jin Ramen and put bok choy, carrots and an egg or meat in it. They have a veggie one but i haven't tried it yet.
I dont drink soda often but I love Barq's red creme soda! Do not give me vanilla creme soda!

I love al. dente Ramen. I hate mushy Ramen. I never cook it what they recommend. I cook it in chicken broth and milk to make it more nutritious and creamy and yummy. I usually add shredded chicken breast to it too. I never use the whole seasoning packet. Less than half. Sometimes I drain all the broth and add tuna and peas and mayo to make a Ramen type pasta salad. You can add any meat to it. It's good. Here is the thing. Since I'm not Korean and can't use chopsticks...I eat it "Spaghetti style". I use a fork and twirl the ramen just like when eating normal spaghetti.
I never slurp.
Oh. Ya. I add some cheese sometimes for the pasta salad. Also, you can make Ramen mac and cheese.
I am not addicted to Ramen like the BTS boys. I don't crave it. I use it as filler meals. I prefer thicker pasta like penne pasta. But when the Ramen is twirled around a fork, it makes for a good bite.
