Great video! just a quick pointer from a current AH64D/E crew chief dont stress to much about the primer color. the brand new fab E's come off the line with mostly the "robin egg blue" primer in most but not all places where as the D model upgrade airframes that have been converted to E's still have the zinc chromate primer all over. Dont be afraid to mix and match the primer colors on random panels since the real world birds have mix matched primers depending on whats available to us at the time.
@@mrzzgo0ro0na no problem at all! I will be retiring at the end of the year and plan on getting one of these kits as a retirement gift to myself! If you have any other questions about the aircraft let me know I'd be happy to help!
Thanks man! Now I know what to prepare for when I get this model kit, I convert these to working flying rc helicopters, just did a black hawk/ dalphin/ah-1z/skycrane/ I was able to get all or some of the interior in on the models as well and I have successfully flown the 4 I have converted, thanks for the helpful video❤
I just picked up my d and e apache. Beautiful kits. Nothing wrong with my d version but my e version has two of the same side parts. Instead of 1 h1 and 1 g1, my kit came with 2 h1 pieces. Now I have to get in contact with takom to see if I can get 1 g1 piece. Because I'm not going to borrow it from my d version.
This is a great video! I really enjoyed your different approach to what others have done with their Guardian videos. Looking forward to seeing the epic painting video you mentioned. Subscribed.
It's a phenomenal kit, let down a bit by the instructions. I'm doing a late D, so designing and 3d printing a few missing parts while I wait for the Red Fox set. Wasn't happy with the kit rockets either so did new plugs with M229 warheads.
@@mrzzgo0ro0na I'm doing the SSUs and Gaspers for the D model, I'll get to the M4s soon. Finished the main rotor mast, head and tail rotor assy this week, so well engineered.
Great video. My question is when do I start priming and paint on my Sherman tank 1/16 scale. It's half way built. Should I put all together or prime and paint as I build it together. Thank you
I haven’t done that kit but I usually do the road wheels and tracks separately as well as all the tools and detail parts…you can easily assemble most of the kit before painting
I was looking at the background of the video, Merkava, Gepard, I love those vehicles I wish I had thought about model kits sooner LoL

Thank you very much for the info…I had noticed that in a couple vids but wasn’t sure where to go with it…mix and match is awesome…freedom lol

Many thanks! There’s a cockpit update coming very soon
Nice review- better than 90% of the "reviews" that simply fondle parts on the sprue and never put the kit together. Subscribed.
Many thanks! Tell your friends lol

I will order one for me too, and build with polish painting 😉 PL just signed a contract for 96 of them.
Thank you. What a fantastic way to review a kit. And what a kit!
Perfect review, thank you 👍
was thinking of picking this kit up, thank you for posting, this video it's been a good overview
It’s definitely worth while
The kit is excellent imho. Thanks for all the information!
You’re very welcome…more to come
@@mrzzgo0ro0na Great! I have this kit, but not enough skills and courage yet :)
Best of luck when you do decide to give it a go!

I can’t see a translation so unfortunately I have no idea what you said

Awesome man…what other parts are you making? I’d really like to add their rifles to the cockpit

Please feel free…good thing I have another kit to add on all the extras to

WOW. It's so cool.
Yes it’s a very sweet kit…definitely not a beginners kit but extremely well engineered
Redfox studio is very good Hungarian 3D brand!
Yes they have an amazing product indeed!
How's Your Bismarck?
