Best Time ever I was in does day back in the 70sand Also inthe80s 9yrs in the 70s and from 12yrsto17yrsin the 80s WOW now I am 59 approaching in January 2024 how time change its sad now 😢 all good time end no more happiness anymore again war zone now
Such a beautiful video. Brought back beautiful memories of island life. The simplicity of life, and the community that was your family. Thank you for making this video. God bless you 🙏🏽❤️
As someone who was born in Dominica in the 1960s, I can vouch for the precious nature of this beautiful trip down memory lane. Sadly, our culture has been degraded by unethical and unkind behavior among the leadership and the led; too much crime and mischief in high and low places have disfigured the Caribbean we once knew. Time to reflect and recapture the good character traits that we once knew and which made us exemplary people.
Remind me of growing up in Cantoro village Santa Cruz going to school at LA Pastora government School get 4 cents to take the bus spend the money with my friends and walk to school with all the fruit trees and fun on the way to School plum mango guava Orange sugarcane you name it all those fruit trees on the way to my school lots of fun and lots of respect for your elders good old days... living 40 years in the US but never could get enough of Trinidad and Tobago go home every chance I get... Trini to de-bone...
Nice Job, mate. This is when TT was nice, nice, nice. Brought so many memories of my youth seeing the Ice Cream maker. Cricket in the road, football in the rain, etc.
when family come from aboard or leaving TRini ,we go to the waving gallery at the airport and wave till the plane leave, And it had ah pool shape like the Trinidad map with big goldfish at the airport,we used to take out pictures there,Also when my sister went to England on ah ship ,it take 31 days from the docks,Ithink,I was very small. WHEn Crawford win the 76 ...100 meters, that was crazy, they made a calypso,THE words i think was,,fastest human in the whole wide world ,GOLD,haha,...and then Miss Penny, wow TRini was ah great country, lotsof beautiful history
Fantastic job Nirmal, this serves two purposes, one to show how wonderful and good we were and two, it allows us to compare how bad we have become how we have thrown away all that made us Trinidadians admired by the rest of the caribbean, I had a wonderfull time watching this..... MEMORIES.!!!!! How I miss old Trinidad. WHAT HAS BECOME OF US? WHAT HAVE WE DONE.
Truly, lovely memories, and the best good ole days. Born in 1962. with all the modernities and technology, malls, brand name clothing, nothing can compare. Going down memory lane so, peace ful and enjoy able.
Watching this video was bitter sweet, knowing that Trinidad and Tobago would never be the same again. The love and humanity we as a people once had for each other is gone forever.
I remember those days, I was born 1972, I can relate to 80/c of all. Thanks , I appreciate this making of memories which never faded, 🇹🇹. I recall the tyre/ bike rim guiding with a stick. The latrines, the pan around the neck.San F'do.
BWIA was what I used to first step foot on Trinidad soil from America years ago. I still have my passport and airline info in a scrapbook today. Trinidad will always have my heart. 💖💖💖
Well done. Brought back many memories. I was born in 1962 so nothing you showed, I didn’t do or know. And I wish I could do them all over again. For example, when I saw the ‘bussin bamboo’, I also remember ‘bussin carbide’ in a Milo tin with the hole in the bottom made with an ice-pick. POW!!!!! All the neighborhood dogs would lose their minds, and I would get a ‘cut-ass’ for 1, making the noise and embarrassing my mother and 2, for playing with matches. And I would do it all over again and more cut-tail. Licks fuh so!!!!!! What was the matches brand.......Three Plumes! Thanks for bringing me back to my happiest days!
