Exactly! Many countries eat dogs and cats. Some countries consider dogs a delicacy. Our laws or their customs? People just don't get it.
In my country, a foreigner bought a farm to breed dogs mainly St Bernards. He exported the meat to another country. Our minister stopped it because it's not our way and the farmer killed them in a very inhumane way because it made the meat taste better for aphrodisiacs. It was the animal activists that found out about it.
