Dhoni is not just a batsman... He is a leader. He takes pressure off Virat... He takes pressure off the spinners. Terrific wicket keeper and still a pretty decent batsman. Yesterday he scored 42 out of 31(second highest strike rate and as much as the first itself, higher in SR and avg. than his alternative Pant). Yes because he is DHONI people expect him to win the match at any stage. But he is not what he was with Bat. We do miss that ability of his. BUT Doesn't take away the fact that he is a match winner.

1- Open with R. Pant nd No. 4 with KL rahul
2- Bhuvi replace Kedar
Why :-
1- Pant will play with good strike rate and can score good run in power play Nd no. 4 is good for KL rahul to play his game openly.

First off - the pitch was incredibly flat at the start and then slowed down.
Second- the small boundary perimeter made a lot of balls go for sixes, which would have been caught under norm circumstances.

We can't blame India for everything. Still they managed to get 306, yes lost by 31 runs but it's not always the way you want the things to happen. England was in pressure than India and it was a must win match for them. We are still in the strong zone. But some things I need to reflect. In this tournament India has won all the matches on the basis of it's strong bowling and this was the most crucial match for India to prove themselves but they didn't failed . See a loss by 31 runs had 2 factors - Before the match started I told my father that of knock of 100 by both Virat and Rohit is must. Which didn't went in the way of Virat . And second 20-25 runs were less scored in the first 10 Overs. And the third point which I need to add from my side. In the last 10 overs India had the munch to prove that they can win. But the way they were batting really didn't show the positive Intent to win. Even during the match against Afghanistan we were short of 40-50 runs and here is the same case we were not able to get par those 30-40 runs and it was chaseable. So again to all Dhoni fans who criticized Sachin Sir on his opinion towards the match against Afghanistan. "Matches are won by team spirit not by one match show " it's our illusion that we see through one angle, but the second angle shows every thing correct . People asking Sachin's Identity that who he is to comment, he has never been a match winner and he only scored runs for him so yesterday we could see the same situation's with Rohit SHARMA too he batted and did his job but once he got hundred he was OUT so should be blame him the same way. Dhoni sir didn't performed yesterday so does that means that he is not a match winner . These all Indian players were performing there level best in IPL but my friends' this is not IPL and neither these are Indian pitches the whole equation changes when you are playing outside your home town and Winning the matches depends on the performance of whole team. Conclusion here lies that we need to respect the seniors and our whole team. Comfortably sitting on your couches at home and commenting is very easy and playing in the actual senario is something different.
