Great job! I had several questions at the beginning but you were so thorough that all of my questions were answered by the end of your video. Thank you. Your wigs turned out beautiful.
Gorgeous!!! I love Both experiments!! I have a mousey brown wig I want to darken or something its just blah. Have you done anything with a brown wig? Its a Pecan Delight color I was thinking of doing a crimson or cranberry or who knows lol maybe some altered variations of dark...
Love love the colours, well done! Im new to wigs, only tried 2 on & what looked gorgeous straight out of the box looks terrible on me, way to gold! I wonder if the royal purple would work just with the hot water instead of using the alcohol 🤔
@wakeupwithpurposebyerica I was mainly thinking of how you used the 2nd colour of chocolate brown with the hot water. I have all the ingredients now ready for when I want to make my witches potion lol
All you need is a little gentian violet in cold water, and dip until it’s ashy. Cheapest and easiest way. I’ve had success with several brassy wigs already. Have straight LA’s Totally Awesome cleaner on hand for a rescue cleaner, in case some strands get lavender.
Wow!!!! So pretty and such an improvement! Can't wait to try this. Do you think the purple dye would work with water instead of alcohol? Also how many minutes total did you use the purple dye (best guess)? Im going to try this on a heat friendly wig. So the chocolate brown gives actually pink results, right? Did the texture change at all?
@@greentea7539 I don’t know if the purple works with water. I didn’t try that. I kept in the purple for a total of about 10 minutes. None of the dying changed the the texture at all!
I just bought everything i need. Would you say your wig has beige in it? That is how it looks on my screen. Was the other wig that turned purple a heat friendly wig?.@@wakeupwithpurposebyerica

@@enzusanz5613 I’m not sure. The video I watched used alcohol so I did too.

Did either of these wigs have lace and if so, did it dye the lace? I love the colors you got!
@@franndennis yes, they both have lace. And no, it didn’t dye the lace but if I was going to leave it longer, I’m afraid it would.

@@greentea7539 it had more yellow blonde than beige blonde. Yes, Vero that I turned pink was heat friendly.
Nice job. Someone said fabric softener to conditioned it after dye. Then air dry. Did your piece just return to that shape or did you style it
@@venom7774 it returned! Synthetic wigs have style memory 😊
What’s the traders Joe powder called. Stupid question I guess ?🤷
@@venom7774 not stupid!!! It’s just Trader Joe’s dry shampoo
