I've been watching since June 2010, Day 422 and have never missed a day since.
You guys have cheered me up when I've been at my lowest. I lost a loved one to cancer last year and honestly, you guys kept me going when I didn't even think it was worth it anymore.
From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank both of you, simply for being awesome. Love you guys!

Thank you so much for posting this. This is exactly the kind of conversation I was hoping this video would promote. It's not about which group gets teased more - it's about the fact that it hurts everyone and needs to cease.

Speaking as someone who's been struggling with bulimia since I was 16 (I'm 30) it really helps to read these comments and watch the video. Every day is a new day. Some days are good, some are a struggle. Loving yourself is the SW way. We all have bad days. The point is not to let those days be who you are. You are all beautiful. Thanks for sharing Alli!

Alli, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. I have struggled with my body image my entire life, to the point of avoiding mirrors and not wanting to leave my house because I didn't want other people to look at me. I have come such a long way since then and this video has really put into perspective just how far I have actually come.

I'm in junior high and I've really been struggling with my weight. I'm 95 pounds and for the past several months, I've seen nothing but fat. I've even gone to the extreme of starving myself. But thankfully, I have amazing friends who have found help for me. It is people like you that truly help and make us feel beautiful. Thanks Alli.

Alli, thank you so much for this video. I can not thank you enough for everything you have said. I've struggled with body image since Elementary school and hearing this has really inspired me to not worry so much about my body anymore and that I can still be a healthy weight without having to take such life risks. Both you and Charles brighten up my days, every day and you both help me to overcome obstacles I face daily. I can't even put into words how much this has inspired me. Thank you

Thank you so much for making this video. I've been teased all my life because of my weight/appearance. I love to see the good in everyone and I do think everyone is beautiful. :) You're such a great role model. And honestly some crummy things have happened to me. My mom passed away when I was 17 and this month is the 6 year anniversary. But watching these videos and the vlogs never cease to bring a smile to my face. You guys help me be strong. Thanks you guys! :)

PS: thank you Alli for being such a beautiful, caring and loving person. The world lacks people like you, who understands that bullying can really affect someone and you can't know what its doing to them on the inside. We all have done it, no one can say they haven't but its realizing how wrong it is that makes you a better person. Understanding how it feels and letting people know its not right and not acceptable.

That was really something I needed to hear tonight:) I've been fighting an uphill battle with anorexia for years, and it's definitely the hardest thing I've ever done. I'm still learning to try to accept my body the way it's meant to be. I think that this was such a great way to get the message out to some people who may need help, as I feel like so many people are unaware of or ignoring their disordered eating, whether it be starving or overeating. You truly are a HUGE inspiration for me, and

In the vlogs you always seem so confident and comfortable with yourself. Actually, after I started watching the vlogs it made me realize how insecure I really am. I really admire how you carry yourself, Alli. I've been working on upping my confidence to that level one day (eating much better and going to the gym every couple of days). :)

I really like how you explained that skinny doesn't necessarily always mean healthy. Many people starve themselves thinking that if they are skinny means they are healthy. But little did they know, being overly skinny can cause just as many problems as being overweight. Be healthy and be happy with who you are! - Way to go Ally! You have an excellent definition/description on what to do to be healthy. Thank you and keep it up! :)

I'm so glad to have seen this video. I've struggled with body image for years and battled with bulimia and anorexia for years before eventually getting to a weight that, although it's not quite the weight I'm after, I'm somewhat happy with. I've also since changed my diet for the better and got myself into an exercise regime that works for me. I hope everyone else that struggles the same way I did finally seeks help and changes their lives for the better, too.

You're defiantly right i weigh 100 pounds at 14 years and people call me anorexic and stuff it bothers me a little i also get called pale a lot i can't stand it i hate when people pick on my insecurities it just makes me feel worse about myself so every time i see myself in the mirror i just think of all my flaws instead of the good things. Words hurt and sometimes people don't realize what they say can harm someone else.

Thanks for this, Alli. It means a lot to me. I am overweight, but i've learned that if I'M comfortable with my own body, why should anyone else's opinions matter? I've felt the pressure my entire life to be thin and I've found someone who finds me attractive- just as I am- and honestly, I couldn't ask for anything else.
So I encourage others to take a step back and ask themselves what really matters- their OPINIONS or your COMFORT? It takes only one time to think positively about yourselves! ^.^

Alli you are gorgeous inside and out! You inspire me to be the best version of myself and just to let go and not let others control my life and to take control of my own body and life! Many people point out my eyebrows and how I should fix them and make them thinner, but I always say,"no this is me!" and yet people still tease me. I don't care anymore! I love my eyebrows the way they are! Weight is hard for me though, but you have helped me to see that no one IS perfect! So thanks! You're amazin

Thank you so much for talking about this, Alli. A lot of people look up to you, and feel like you are their friend in a strange way, and this isn't something normally friends talk about. I'm trying to start being healthy, and its hard going to the gym or health food store knowing that others are judging you, but I know that half of that is also in my head. Other than showing me Panera and making me become addicted, thanks for being awesome :)

This was a wonderful reminder! I used to get teased for bring skinny too. But soon enough I got over all of my self confidence because I aways thought about the happiness is a choice thing that Shay says and that I know who and what I am so no one else needs to tell me and point out my flaws :)

You have no idea how much I needed to hear this today. I was teased relentlessly for my weight in school clear through college, even by people I thought were my friends. It wasn't until a year ago that I decided to do something about it and have lost 100lbs so far. However, I hit a plateau in the last month and and the confidence I was feeling has taken a hit. Hopefully it will break soon. So thanks for posting this. I know I'm not alone but sometimes we need to hear it from someone else.

I think that it's great that you made this. It must have been really hard to decide whether or not to post it because of all the negative people who would say mean stuff about you. Very inspirational and I hope that more people watch for some inspiration to fell better about themselves.

Good luck to you! Just keep pushing to be the best you! I know it sounds corny, but it really makes a difference when you make the choice to be happy with yourself.
