I assumed when the art of him was released that he was just gonna be this sweet adorable boi AND THEN WHEN HE ACTUALLY CAME OUT HE WAS SUCH A LITTLE ASSHOLE AND I LOVE HIM FOR IT
He’s not just an academic, he’s a realistic portrayal of one. He’s like the biology version of my European History professor who was kind of strict but beloved by the class for being _amazingly sarcastic_ and having strong opinions on very specific things (for example, his hatred for the term “Middle Ages”)
Bro his Light Hit lines being "Excuse you?" And "Who do you think you are?" Sent me. Like everyone else is like "ow that hurt" or being tough, this mf is like "who said you could hit me"
Zhongli is also kinda unintentionally funny because he faked his death in an overly dramatic way, forgot he powered the mint that produces money for the _entire_ _continent_ and the whole being broke as the god of money thing

Traveler's slept on as a comedic genius. Oike, when in the first lantern rite Xiao goes "I don't go to liyue becuse edge and karma and if I lose control the streets will run red with the blood of the innocents" and trav's like "red's actually a pretty festive color in these parts"

SPOILERS. The funniest voice line that Scaramouche had made me laugh so many times for some stupid reason. Was after he regained all his memories.

Traveller is also underrated for their meme of pulling out the fatui mask for no apparent reason.
Like back in the first lantern rite when Paimon was trying to roast a treasure hoarder that they would never do anything so shameless that would require them to cover their face. Pans over and the traveller is there wearing that fatui mask Diluc gave them. And Paimon just flips off saying, "Really?! I was in the middle of my speech and everything!!"
Also, the traveller and Paimon duo have hilarious voice lines under the Traveller's profile.
Other than Itto's goofy arse, Tighnari's sassy attitude and Scaramouche's deadpan humour, Traveller's got to be one of the funniest characters (Somehow with Paimon if she isn't trying to be a whole stick in the arse)

Kinda suprised there was no mention of Childe's story quest. It was hilarious seeing him making a fool of himself just for the sake of his little bro. I laughed so much at that.

I think Venti is hilarious. I still remember when he was mocking Paimon repeating everything she was saying. And if I remember correctly, he would call himself tone-deaf bard too. And his line for Zhongli and Murata just kills me.

Honestly Shenhe and Raiden both have some voicelines that are really funny. Especially Raiden, there's such a stark contrast between Ei and the Shogun.

10:00 (Said in a so serious it becomes sarcastic voice) I must object to your decision on Mona vs Shinobu! I laugh so much at Shinobu corralling the Aritaki gang. Yes, she gets a lot of the humor from being the strait man to Itto's goofiness, but that is still a very important element of funny. I think she should have been third place behind Itto and Tighnari.

Honestly the funniest thing Alhaitham has ever done is "accidentally" take Kaveh's key to their apartment and therefore locking him out. At least I think he's done this.
Also Mona is pretty funny especially after the her story quest. I loved every line she had in the Golden Apple Archipelago and her opening line when you fight her in the TCG is also funny.
Scara's voice actor also did a Honda commercial and a pizza one. I think it's Domino's Pizza commercial. There's recreations of the ads on youtube!
Itto is by default the funny man, nearly everything he says and does has some kind of comedic value. Everything except for that one chunk of his hangout (Mostly cause it made me sad) is funny lmao.

I have few things to say
1. When doing Tighnari's elemental boost one of the voicelines you can get is "I HEAR EVERYTHING!" And it always makes me laugh.
2. If you listen to Layla's voicelines then you know she sounds like a drunk/hung-over woman who just remembered all of their responsibilities. I'm not say she should have won, just that she should have gotten past Sara (my opinion)

My top 3 most sassy or obliviously funny characters in genshin
Tighnari’s pile of sass and sarcasm to such an extent that I’d almost have to rank him over Itto. Itto is funny, by all means, but sometimes it falls into the laughing at him rather than laughing with him, especially with how they hammed up his character in 2.7. Tighnari is just tired of people’s bullshit and it’s beautiful.
I would honestly rank Kazuha higher too. The drunk scene was amusing, but the top tier moments are him threatening to brand a guy for stealing and when he just yeets a drunk man over his shoulder to bring him back to his senses. Kind of like with Tighnari - the juxtaposition of his personality with some of his actions and voice lines just kill me lol.
The reason why Xiao eats snow is rlly sad TT. In the olden days, in china if u where rlly poor u couldn't afford food so u eat snow at winter times. Xiao was blackmailed by a god then he was thrown away then be became insane and he would eat animals at spring, summer and fall and eat snow at winter cause all the animals are hibernating.

I started playing genshin like 3 weeks ago and i got the luck to get itto very early on, when i was walking around the map started a rain and oh god his line is just perfect.
I prefer Tighnari's more clever sassy humor over Itto being funny by being stupid, but that's just me
Day two of asking for a video of you nicknaming every Genshin character it would just be so funny I would use all the nicknames every time I played also I call Shenhe “Shingles” and Childe “Chongles” theyre both so violent and rich yet neither use their money often and they both have a crush on traveler (head canon)
