Do the soil stack boss 'straps' open wide enough to slide onto the stack pipe? I don't have the luxury of sliding the boss over the end of the stack pipe.

Where you put the rubber, could you solvent weld as well? And the pipe you put in the rubber is pushfit or solver weld?

Brilliantly explained. However, we are re arranging our kitchen which means the soil stack entry will only be a meter from our sink is it ok to be that close? I'm just wondering in case of any stench back flow. I'm guessing the water trap will prevent this bit just checking before I go about it. Thank you for this, I am a follower as of today👍

Great, but don't you need to rough up the inside of the boss to provide a key for that side of the joint, or is it supplied prekeyed

Solvent weld needs both pipes to be solvent weldable, not all plastic water pipe is the same.

After having a few accidents and cracking pipes I actually found that once the pilot is drilled actually going backwards with the hole saw is a bit safer

Hi. Will the straps open enough to fit over the stink pipe. Also what size hole cutter for a 32mm waste pipe or are they all universal as in 57mm cutter in your video. Thanks

I recommend using gap filling cement rather than solvent weld. A bit more expensive but much more reliable.

Looks like it might be difficult to get the correct fall?

I wonder if it is safe to assume that the type of plastic used on the soil pipe is solvent weldable? Obviously in some situations that might not be enough of the pipe exposed to see any markings.

Would this be suitable once fitted, to be installed under a tiled floor?
I need to move a sink waste - which currently runs directly straight down into the top hole of a 110mm soil stack (with a cap that has a 32mm hole). Which is in a concrete floor. I need to run/move the waste 30cm to the side (into a corner, for corner unit). So can I channel into the concrete floor and run the 32mm pipe into the side of the soil stack using one of these, and then concrete back over the pipe/channel?
