You can also speed connect your selected nodes to the new mesh-warp node(or any other node for that matter) by holding shift+alt and tapping the node you want your selection to connect up to. The same with multiple nodes going downward to a composite or a switch can be selected and then hold alt and tap the child to connect them all at once. Alt for child and shift+alt for parent.
I made a soccer ball with a mesh warp in the rig. I had a ball shape, a massive texture of the pattern, and a mesh warp to give it a spherical feel. The animator could then drag the texture around as they animated the ball. In this case, the animator would never have to adjust the mesh warp, so I don't feel it was too evil to have it be a part of the rig.
I'm pulling my hair here cause it's not working at all on composited (bitmap) characters further down the node chain using "apply peg transformation". Same for other deformers. How do I make them work?
Shor and useful as always!! Thanks! Oh, I was wondering - I looked for a way to animate the pencil line in toonboom and I found some tutorials, but I am curious to see the way you would do that!
I used a mesh warp in a rig lol I was building a photograph prop and the angles of the prop were very dramatic so I attached a mesh warp to the PNG I had imported for the picture and cut it to the actual vector prop I was building then put deformers and the vector and animation can use the mesh warp to match the PNG to the vector. I just hope animation knows how to use this properly lol
Hey :) Thanks for the tutorial ^^ I was wondering for the pencil brush for the line art you're using, did you do it yourself or is there any pack of brush you would recommand :) ? Thanks !

This one is so useful!

Cool!
That could be usefull to make some water effect no ?
You tell me!
I love this effect. I always wanted to do this.
^^
thank you so muchh!!
no problem!
awesome video!!
Glad you enjoyed it
My mesh wrap is not shown in render view :(

Go in my channel page and look for
Ze: Don't use it in a rig, that's evil
Me: * uses mesh wrap in props rig * 😌😌😌😌
Pas la meme chose!

that works !
