I've been riding the 2021 Commencal Meta HT AM Ride mountain bike for approximately 4 months. Hope this video can help you if you're considering this bike.
I got the same bike, just installed a PNW dropper (rainier 3) with loam lever and it's amazing!! Best of all you can ajust it! So you get the maximum drop!
Love the bike. I’m thinking I may get a HT from Commencal as well. I am waiting on my Commencal Meta AM 29 to arrive in April, it’s the Essential. A hard tail might be fun to have around too though, can’t have enough bikes. I subscribed to your channel as well. Looking forward to seeing more.
Sweet looking bike. I have a Fox 36 with 160mm. I was wondering if it’s going to be a good fit but yours is 160 too so that answered my question. I’m getting this in 29” frame only:), Thanks for the video.
If you still are responding should I get the XL? I am 6’5 230lbs, I am wanting to jump a little bit and ride trails. Please let me know what you would think.
Was it the right decision for size m? A video when you sit on the bike would be interesting because I have the same height and I am not sure which size I should choose.
@@sunnytong Thanks for the info, mate. Much appreciated. I'd love to get one of these bikes, same frame and wheel size. Sadly im in the uk so i'd probably struggle to get one shipped over here. I was thinking of getting a Specialized Fuse, but even they seem to be tricky to get hold of now. Not sure i like the sliding dropouts on the Fuse either. Could end up becoming problematic down the line.
Jason Ramit Im the same height as you. Is a medium size bike what i should get? According to size charts in 2022 im at the top end of medium, and the bottom end of large. I think i may have issues with a large though.
I thought was excellent. I switched to a short travel full suspension bike that is lighter than the Meta a few months ago and even though my new bike is considered an efficient climber, I prefer and am faster climbing on the Meta.
According to the Commencal USA site, there are some sizes available this and month for the Ride and Origin models, although the month is almost over. I hope you get one soon.

I just did the same. 200 mm.
Cheers for the upload. I’m getting this bike in the uk 🇬🇧 later this month so great to see someone else with it 👍🏼👍🏼
Guy Busby where did you order it from? I was quoted a delivery of June 2021 on the official website
@@RUclipsSpareTime hi, I got mine from the www.theonlinecycleshop.com/
They’ve said it should be here for next week. I’ll keep you posted. 👍🏼
Wow superb bike.....🥰
That bike looks absolutely bad-ass.

Thank you! Have fun with your build and enjoy your bike!
U should get a pnw loam dropper post
You might need to change out the fork if you want 29er wheel. The front fork is only spec for 27.5 wheel only I believe.
You are correct. Now I feel like I should have went with the "Race" version of the bike.

Yes, I followed the factory size chart and it fit me well. Based on the factory size chart you're height is within the recommended height for XL.
Hey thanks for responding so quick! Cant wait to get one!

During my first ride, I felt like I should have gotten a large, but I got use to the medium afterward.
for me is the same.. did you got on already? when yes, which size? :D
Awesome bike. I want to put 2.6" wide tyres on my bike. How wide are you rims?
Thanks! The rims are 35 mm inner width, according to the specs from Commencal.

How tall are you im 5'8 and ride a medium but i also have a large yt?
I'm about 5' 10". My bike is a medium and at first it felt a little crammed, but I adjusted after a few rides.
What would would be the best size for 6'2? L or XL?

how is for climbing?

What's your height and frame
I'm about 5-10 and the frame is a medium.
4month review haha.. i cant even buy it in now and 3 months
