Ya Takaaki was and is ALWAYS a better "story teller" and guides your feet tru the night then Sven Väth. One of the most underrated DJ's and producers of all time in the scene. Itoh always delievers
This is the ultimate "I will get work done mix" or "I will dance really hard mix". During my 5 week grind for our boards this mix has made regular appearance and I swear these tracks and mixing helped me get the score I did lol. This mix is on another level.
This set works absolutely well for me at the gym during a boring cardio workout on a treadmill or on a home trainer. Or when I'm walking home from the gym late at night (7 miles). It's just so mesmerizingly good, you literally eat up the miles. Every fucking time. This is without any exaggeration a masterpiece and brought me to his page where I bought some of his music. This set GOES on my 10.2 sound system at home. Oh, it must've been such an overwhelming experience listening to this set through the best sound system in the world, in a place where people expresses themselves in a way they really are, without judging and the fear of being who you are. I'd wish to be in a state of my life to witness the feels throughout this or a similar set at Berghain one day. This is so super-fluidly flowing one in another, can't even find words to describe how good this set is. Sorry for TL:DR, I had Molly two hours ago and "she" kicks hard and smooth at the same time lol, much love!
@@sinkxorxswim you can honestly experience similar vibes to the ones that happen at Berghain/Panorama bar in Detroit during Movement festival weekend - Detroit is the birthplace of techno and there's seriously surreal energy surrounding the birthplace of this genre
@@sinkxorxswim I should probably also mention that I got to see Takaaki Itoh at a seriously cool afterparty called Observe // SCENE on 5.28.2023 at Leland City Club in Detroit for this year's Movement, where he was booked from 5:00am - 7:00am. Actually all of the headliners booked were incredible. Lewis Fautzi from 1-3am, Rodhad from 3-5am. etc. Those vibes were akin to the ones you'd find at Berghain. yo. have some record to tell you about and this is just on the top of the cream. In my heart in my soul ... in my mind in my soul ... i still believe ... i feel the beat
There is something else playing between Tracks 40 and 45 that is not listed here....what is it? (It comes in between the Milton Bradley Far Beyond Quiet track and The Echelon Plan track; i've already looked those two up) The thing I hear comes in at 41:15....and has a lovely melody line at 42:48, that beautiful spacey sonar ping at 44:16....I need that track....
@@AudioScienceShampoo not yet....:( its possible it is one of his own produced tracks and we might just have to do some digging in his body of work. Or maybe it was a track he did he couldn't release yet. You know how they do. OR it could just be that magic of mixing...he picked the right tracks to mix that in the moment produced a "new track". Thats why I love integrative mixing/gain staging, whatever its called my old brain is blanking right now.
@@AudioScienceShampoo same here i get so distracted jumping from search to search. I need to continue my search for this one. Ahahah should I come across anything I will update you :)
Any thoughts on what comes in very close to 2:17:00 .. gets almost into a fast ass break around 2:18:00 and ends around 2:25:00 .. that sheet is sweeet.

2:16:16 I can't imagine how good this sounds on Berghain's Funktion-One's
I literally posted the same about how good this must've sound on Funktion 1. Their sound system truly is an experience on its own.
Know this ID bro?
there are heavier moments in this set.. bass is not that good.. try 41:20 or 1:17:30 or 1:27:08 or 1:49:45 these are massive on large sound..
i honestly cannot believe that >1,500 people got to experience ~2:09:30 to that point live. holy shit
Gorgeous dystopian feel.
wooow!!! this kind of music is still alive -thanks for thisone
I close my eyes and I am there!!! Beautiful, Schoen!!! Nice beats no cheesy shit. NICE JOB!!

such a smooth mix
The sensei just gave us a 3,5 h set at Budapest, Hungary. Professional work, smooth transitions, well balanced audio elements, mind-bending tracks👌
This is so smooth, like butter.
