I was here 7 years ago when they did the backbend tutorial ❤️
I have been learning my back hand spring and trying it for other a month but keep landing on my head every time!!!!
Any tips ??
Use ur shoulders and block with ur hands
Practice handstand hops and blocks
I know you might not want my help or anything but remember to lock out your arms which basically means keeping your arms straight and by your ears the whole time, especially when you are going back. Some good drills for backhand springs are handstand blocks, handstand pushups, and jumps into handstands! Basically, make sure that you have the arm strength and you are putting your arms where they should be. I hope this helps you! Good luck!!!
Work on back limbers because those are basically a slowed down back handspring.

My name is Allie, I have always wanted to be flexible and be able to do cool skills. I can only do a cartwheel right now and I can't even do the splits. Ever since I started watching you guys you helped me be more confident. I just ordered a gymnastics mat so I can start learning to do the stuff I have always wanted to do. When I get the gymnastics mat, the first thing I want to do is go on RUclips and look up one of your tutorial videos and finally be able to my dream. I love you all so much!

Maggie a little tip, try push your hips forward when doing the front limber (it helps a lot)

the old tutorials that were 1:45-2:00 were my life back then😭😭!! Can you do an updated Valdez tutorial?
You taught me a bhs, back walkover, back tuck, round off bhs, aerial, front aerial, bhs back tuck, etc
What’s odd is I cannot even do a cartwheel or any type of flip, but I can easily fall back into a backbend and stand up instantly either slow or fast. But what I want is a basic cartwheel.
