"... and then he had to throw them away." Aaah, nooo, poor Benny! 😨😆 But you are heroes! This cosplay is insane! Your work is terrific, I love your videos and Zelda and Midna are adorable! 😍
That is a really high level of precision there with all those tiny pieces and details... The result proves that it was worth the effort I guess! Keep up the good work guys!
I love how they just stay humble because deep down they know they are the best costume makers of the RUclips Gang. It's just impressive and really pleasing to watch as the writing, filming, editing and props making are all at a pro level. I can't wait to see the other parts of this!
I love how you guys do not take short cuts and you put sooo much detail into everything you make! Its insane how much time is spent on these and you definitely deserve all the recognition you get for it! Love the video's!
Poor Benni slaves for you... you should be extra nice to him lol Not sure if you guys realize just how many different categories of crafts that you exhibit expert level skills. Inspirational.
You guys deserve 2 million subscribers with all the hard work you put into these videos and your cosplays while still giving time for yourselves.Good job!
Holy smokes! This all looks incredible, Kamui! I can only imagine how long all of this took you. I'm excited to see it all together when it's complete! It was also good for me and my boyfriend to see you at Fort Worth A-Kon a couple weeks ago. He was dressed as warrior from final fantasy. Thank you for being so kind and fun!
Such an amazing and inspirational video! The armor is looking so good and spot-on. Keep up the awesome work you guys, I'm loving what you do and can't wait to see more progress!
This was incredible! I love your videos so much because it's almost magical watching your costumes come to life. I'm excited for the rest of the videos! :D
im just now getting cosplay crafting and i got to say, I cant wait to have a space big enough to get all those fancy tools (laser cutters, 3d printers, embroiders). Right now I got a spare bedroom with a sewing machine.
I gotta admit I had always seen cosplay but I was never really interested In it till i saw your videos. Very good job, keep it up, loving the fallout item :) :D
I'm so happy to see that you get your cosplay inspiration from video games!! The cosplays that you make are amazing! I wish I had horizon zero dawn but I don't have a Play station!!! 😭😭😭😭😭 oh well I guess you can't have everything. Instead I'll just watch you make these awesome cosplays!!😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
I know this sort of thing isn’t what you’d usually create but it’d be cool if you created the peace keeper armor from for honor! It isn’t really as touched on as the rest of the knights or characters in the game and seeing this assassin come to life would be a brilliant experience! 👍🏻
New fan here!! Your work is inspiring! I have a bf who wants to cos with me and I recently found your channel, and showed him your videos. We also want corgis. :)
I've been watching your cosplay for a while now. True works of Art, you have come a long way from where you started. I want to be able to produce this level of cosplay for my kids (21, 18, 17, so not really kid kids lol) but I wonder if I'm to old (49) to start doing this type of cosplay. I do a lot of Costume re-enacting 1500-1910, but this is a completely different world, its so intimidating.
This is so adorable! Especially all the details with the leather stuff :O Can you recommend any special needles for sewing faux leather? I still keep struggling with this sewing stuff... Can't wait for the next videos ;)
Your work is very amazing, and your videos are very funny and interesting to look :) You speak slowly so I can understand easy :) Congratulation, I realy love what you do
Stunning work, amazed by the amount of detail... Do you think game designers are starting to throw in more detailed game models, to make life harder for cosplayers? :-D
Fun fact ! The little embroidery patch is Aloy’s Seeker Mark ! So if anyone was wondering why the npcs mentioned it but couldn’t see it now you know ~~
Yup 🤔the most annoying thing is to make something, cut them out 50+ then find out that there the wrong size -😑😂🤷🏼♂️ Pretty sure this next lot are correct 🤔 PS: I love the Amount of detail you guys go into for the costumes 😀
HI! WE LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!! We are from Argentina (my girlfriend and I) We'd love you'd do a predator costume (pleeeaaseeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!) since you do such wonderful jobs we would love to see you doing it! aldo, we love your corgis, thats why we subscribed to your videos to be honest, and then we figured you were the best on doing cosplays. Best of all lucks to you, keep doing your best as always we love you!
I love your videos, you're both so incredibly talented and inspirational! Where do you source all your faux leather from? I live in Australia and can't find any of the right colours anywhere!
Ok so I just started using an airbrush for my costumes, based off your techniques from your books (yes I just bought all of them) and I love the air brushing to help make the armor and stuff look better, but my question is do you have more than one airbrush that you use to paint because using one then cleaning it and using a different color several times is quite a hassle?
+Ninja Hobbies That's awesome, I'm glad! It is quite a hassle but needs to be done if you wanna keep your nozzle clean and want it to work for a long time. Worth it though!
Hello Kamui Cosplay,I am curious to know how you plan for completing an elaborate/challenging cosplay in a given time frame. By this I mean, did you know before beginning your Aloy cosplay that it would take four months to complete? Thank you for your contribution to the cosplay community.
Hi. Do you have a more detailed tutorial on how you made that belt (thiner one) and what you used for it (aside of the fake leather) ? I'm looking for something like that as a replacement to real leather. Thanks in advance
I once sewing a thick leather like that too with portable sewing machine and the same machine foot like on your video, but why is my stiches keep skipped so much? Do you have any idea what's wrong with my sewing? Or do i need to put something on the leather or the machine first? Thankyou so much if you want to kindly reply! You make sewing the leather looks so easy!
See this just makes me not want to cosplay because I'll never have the resources or be as good as this T,T sadness But honestly, really great job! They look fantastic!
But that's just one way to do it. You can make all these things with way cheaper materials and other techniques too and it won't nearly be as expensive!
@@KamuiCosplay yeah, I was just saying that the basic construction is similar, lol. Sorry, I’m kinda a weapons nut…. But it looks like a fantasy rogue version of the armor Ghengis Khan wore, in some parts, to me. Sorry if I’m coming across as rude or snobby or anything. Really not my intention.
Hi love your work. Do you think you are going to do another book about fabrics. And more ideas ps. Do You going to do a tutorial of the wrist gauntlets of this armor.
"... and then he had to throw them away."
Aaah, nooo, poor Benny! 😨😆

Stunning work, amazed by the amount of detail... Do you think game designers are starting to throw in more detailed game models, to make life harder for cosplayers? :-D
+Marc Weerts I think the designer of this particular armor set must have a burning hate for cosplayers...
amazein video keep up the good work

I am thinking about doing a video where I talk about everything we learned when making this costumes and also how we planned it. Sound good? :)
Sounds amazing. I hope you and Benni put together that video; I'm sure everyone would appreciate it.

@@KamuiCosplay Thanks (:
WOW.
I can't say more
I think that type of armor is called Lamellar, if I’m not mistaken. Might be thinking of something else, though.
No, it's completely fictional and also not functional. It's the Shadow Stalwart Armor from Horizon Zero Dawn. :)
