Lovin' Turtle... it is one of the great things I love about watching you folks doing things I can't anymore. This whole experience of meeting and being tramily with such an amazingly diverse group of people has got to be an amazing experience...Thanks, again, for taking me along....
Nice! I’m no rancher or cow person, but I live in that area. I know they have been doing what they do since the 1800’s. They have only recently figured out hikers and are doing well now to accommodate.
Thanks for the beta. I look forward to postholing into water after mile 1020 something. BTW Zoo, what is the name of the eucalyptus lemon mosquito deterrent? Also the big leaf yellow flower plant is mules ears. The little pinkish mounds are phlox. I appreciate you guys. I’m hoping to run into you maybe in WA-Turtle
It's a Very Long State. Trust me, back in the olden days when we young road driving warriors used paper maps and atlas's to navigate, California could really mess you up when it was on one map page just like Oregon but the actual travel distances were more than twice as far....
Is Turtle English? Trying to work out his accent. If so say hi from a fellow Brit, but you can say hi anyway. You two really have found your stride and you appear to enjoy every minute.
A well deserved town day and glad your replenished and back on trail.

It's wild to think that way over half of the PCT is in California.

What day was this? My family of 4 are starting at KMN on June 25, wondering about microspikes.
You forgot to mention you got rid of the bear can.

Aussie
where was this saloon that you had breakfast in? I’ve got to try it.
At KM north, the meal was served in the dining room in the main lodge. The saloon is a separate building there.
