So obsessed with living in a simple tiny house nowadays. With a house like this, having all the basics, away from the hustle and bustle of town, breathing fresh air & being sorrounded by greenery, what more does a person need?? Thinking of having one too as my retirement home. Thanks for letting us tour your space ❤❤❤
You have what you need! It’s adorable! Didn’t think one less than 100 sq ft could have so much in it…..and love the fact you don’t have to go outside to go to bathroom! Great job!
What I love the most is the solar 100 watt panel that powers the eco flow that powers the jackery that powers the Bodega fridge.! You are a true inspiration Superwoman! Cheers to you Jessica 🥰💪👏💛
Very cute. It’s nice to be able to retire and feel self sustaining in our tiny homes! I got my shed 3 years ago and finished it one year ago. Only because I went through cancer surgery and I was down for the year. My shed finished is 10x25 has no stairs I have a bedroom kitchen and living room and Full bathroom ; I bought all my stuff on discount and and stuff people were throwing away when they were remodeling ; like my kitchen cabinet and bathroom cabinet I wish I could share it with you. I wish you much happiness.
I loved the honesty about "going out to eat". We've lived in our tiny house for about 3 years now and this past year in our 18' RV - while we develop our land where we will pull our tiny house to. And to see your sink, for full time cooking is nearly impossible, unless you're going out to eat. Thanks so much for stating that, because so many others don't disclose things like that and people need to know that. Dishes take a lot of water to do and I know a lot of hacks to save on water, so 2.5 gallons wouldn't go far. You've done such a great job decorating your place, I love your style and look. Thanks again for giving us a peek inside.
I have a nearly identical setup and I cook mostly at home. For dishes I have an extra small tub that I keep stored(I've seen collapsible ones). Do a hot soapy wash in the tub and final rinse in the sink. I transition the counter to be all drying space and set the dishes out. I have a large kettle that I used to get my hot water. Not sure if this is info is helpful but hey!
@GoodVokrs2Know I saw an Oriental man here in RUclips that had NO sink at all. He used a bit of vinegar to clean his dishes because it's environment friendly as well as having anticeptic and anti-microbial properties as well. I so wish I could remember the name of his site 'cause it would be so inspirational to you and others how he managed with no sink in his converted van. I'll add his site if I can locate it.
She did a great job on converting this shed. I personally, could not live that rustic. I would also be a little afraid to live, what looks like, so isolated. I applaud your courage. Again, great job. ❤
Love her tiny home, so amazingly cozy for a shed. She did a great job putting it all together, siding and everything. God bless her, very sweet person, and her adorable pup.
Jessica ,you have proved that one needs not a whole lot of stuff to be happy and comfortable And your ideas are certainly new but feasible. Your adventurous spirit is most infectious and it shows one can live minimally and yet be contended
I am absolutely in LOVE with this tiny house! I want the exact house! I actually have tears in my eyes because it made me so happy. You did an amazing job making it beautiful with all of the essentials and just what you need. I am working on trying to go tiny and I have made so many plans of different tiny house ideas and this one is just so simple, perfect, and beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
Hello, my name is Ashley, and this is my Prius, Jennifer. This is my chair and it lays back into a bed. My dad took the other seat out to make room for my kitchen, bathroom, shower, and storage garage. In what used to be my glovebox is where i keep my kitchenware, wooden spoons and spatulas, coleman stove, toothpaste and brush, antiperspirant and a washcloth. Actually the only things that fit in there are the spoons, but you get the idea. lol, seriously though you'd have sooo much more room than a van.
Love the shallow shelving wall between kitchen and bathroom! The white + wood bohemian aesthetic is so cute in this! Sweet touch with the multi-paned window and window box. 👏👏👏
Wow. To me, you are the epitome of what a woman can be, and I’m tremendously inspired by you! And your home? Kick-ass from top to bottom - fantastic job 😊
You are my heroine and have the right outlook on salvaging. Repurpose, reuse and appreciate values of that which is functional. Love it. God bless your life and home. 🇨🇦🙋🧘🐕❤️
I swear I was watching me from the 70's. I had a place just like this. Of course the toilet and shower was outside, if you wanted hot water you had to boil it. You brought back so much of me in your video that I almost forgot. I want to go back to time of being simple which still can be done if other things would just Stop being in the way. Sadly were I live it can't be done anymore I would have to go to the other islands were time has stood still. In other words I want to go home. Mahalo ( thanks) for your video and much love ( Aloha) from Honolulu, Hawaii ✋
Downsizing gets easier the more you go through the exercise, now I have come to like not having a lot of stuff and buying new things is a real treat when you do because it needs to play an important role in my life to be in it. Moving house is a near zero stress event as an added bonus.
Nice job, especially utilizing used and reclaimed materials. Thanks! The most interesting comment regarded the ease of going from 1800 aq.ft. to this tiny house.
I love what you did with your tiny place. So many interesting details that all fit in perfectly together. ...You did wonders with all those thrift store finds. You are such a creative person. Amazing and so inspiring!!!

Your little tiny house is gorgeous and very economic and minimalistic, i love it so much, it's like a little tiny dream house. I do love every inch of it especially the barbecue sit. Good like in retiring hope you grow some fruits and veggies in the free space so will turn so magical.
Glad this is working out for you. I think living as simply and as cleanly as possible is a good thing but we need to be realistic. Batteries don't do as well in colder temperatures and we need to use a combination of energy sources to be able to live. People forget that it takes A LOT OF FOSSIL FUELS to make the Batteries needed to drive a car or to power even the smallest of items that power our phones, pacemakers and laptops.

Your house and land look lovely. You mentioned you had an avocado tree. Hopefully it is a grafted tree - only way to actually get avocados.
