I met Ford in Carter Vintage over the summer. He was gracious enough to grab a guitar off the stand and show me a couple of licks he had recently shard in one of these videos. Super cool guy! #PhrasingGoals. Thanks for these, Ford!
Yeah brother. Man, I have been hammering all of the major and minor triad sets on my channel like a madman. Love your vibe and that tele is glorious. So rad how we can all find each other on here and connect. Looks like you are closing in on 10K. That is a big one. I just crossed 15K and it's so great helping people learn to love music. Keep crushing Ford!
Awesome man! Thanks Ford. I already know my triads fairly well, so you just did the Miyagi thing. Paint the fence and wax on wax off. Just had to open my eyes to it.
Thanks for the instructional video and advice. I invested in some new and used Custom Shop Fenders and Gibsons 20 years ago and found out if I sell them to a guitar store or dealer now, I can just about get what I paid for them. Like you said the real money is in buying vintage, they increase in value and you get to play them.
Fucking fantastic. The way you explain things is perfect for me. I'm a "Rocker" dipping my toes into the more country side of things lol I'm trying to learn how to follow the chords instead of shredding some scale in the key of the song. I just stumbled onto your channel after watching Buke and Guthrie....and am thoroughly enjoying it. Thanks man. 🤘
Congrats on the “clean river” living! I get a lot just watching play and explaining simply like you do. I think it’s your musical soul shining through? There’s a technical part of music, the math, but it’s expression through the musician, that makes it magical. Keep up the good work.
I threw the caged on top of the triad shapes .....another tool in my belt. Thank you for the lesson. If you like sell the Dano Ill give ya 3500. Nice guitar brother
Hey Ford, Ya know, I have a bunch of sarcastic son's 'O bitches at work when I say how's it going? They say "livin' the dream" . I'll bet when your "session buddies" ask "how's it goin Ford?" You say, "livin the dream" then you give a wry smile, 'cause you mean it.
Great triad tutorial, and like you your bridge tone on the plain strings nicely rounded not thin sounding. Part of that is in your hands, partly Danocaster and pickups, but which amp ya playin thru this time?
This is the shit right here man, there's a reason guys like Ford and Guthrie preach this daily!...also that is a gorgeous finish on the Tele daaamn, are u playing the pro junior here? sounds great as always
@@2011goldtop This video is like the ending of Usual Suspects! There's always a breath a fresh air to be found in your lessons Ford. Nice one from Cape Town!!

Great having a dose of lesson again from Ford 😎
Thanks. Youre such a fine player. Great tone, so articulate. I’m really enjoying you. Btw, ABB’s “Revival” taught me this lesson over 50 years ago.
This is so rad!
Brilliant 💥👏….straight into the usable vocabulary…..today….☝️✨

I want one of those Danocasters.
I love danocasters . Best thing about them is they always feel, play and sound great. I’ve never had to mess with one to make it better.
Watched thousands of guitar videos before the algorithm let you into my feed. Shit man, finally finding real people.
