My bf didn't even realise the pancakes were made with oats! Really tasty, great texture, we were both very pleased 🙂 I served them with an apricot jam without added sugar, some walnuts and a bit of whipped cream. Yummy! 😋 Thanks Sasha.
Sashaaaa u r the king of oats. 👑. I am supper happy cos my life is getting easier and healthier because of u. Can't thank enough. Thank you Always. I hope u can do a healthy cookbook one day and I'm telling u it will sell like hot pan cakes
Thanks so much Sylvia, I'm so happy because of you, and it's my pleasure to be a part of that change! Hope I'll be able to get into that project too. Stay healthy, stay happy!
I made these today and they were so good! Took a few tries to get cooking the batter right but once I got it they were great. Did a classic lemon and sugar, and a savoury cheese, ham and tomato. Yum!
I have made this yesterday and its so soft and yummy. I put everything in a blender. So i don’t have sift the flour. Its comes out prefer crepe. Thank you for sharing.
Hi dear Sasha, I love crepes and I haven't had them in the past few years, but I'll definitely make them tomorrow. Thank you so much again for sharing your creative recipes with us. Please take care and stay safe. Have a wonderful day ❤️🌷
Hi dear Zahra, that's awesome, so glad you'll be able to enjoy your crepes again! Hope you'll enjoy the recipe. Take care and have a lovely day! Sending back love!
@@HowToCookSmarter Hi there,I made them and served with apricot jam and fresh berries, my daughter and I loved them, I'll make again next weekend. Thank you so much, it was such an easy to make and great recipe. Have a lovely day ❤️🌷
This really works. There are many other videos out there about gluten free crepes, but they don't work. This is the real deal. For me adding additional cup of water after taking the batter from the fridge works best. If I don't add the extra water, the batter is little too thick for my taste. None the less, this is a great recipe and the video.
I grew up eating palachinkas, sturdier Hungarian crepes, adding a tiny bit of sugar to help them achieve some color. Mine were always eaten for breakfast with a deep-toned jam for the most intense fruit flavor.
Thank you very much for this lovely recipe! i skipped the eggs and added little more milk and they result was lovely! and indeed a lovely and healthy recipe! you eat one crepe and you feel full due to the oats!
Remember: you must buy organic 'GLUTEN FREE' oats. Organic oats still have a cross contamination with wheat. It must be written on the package they are 'Gluten Free', otherwise, check the ingredients and you'll see they contain 'wheat'.
Thank you for your recipe. You speak in a clear, precise, very pleasant way. I make them very often. Did not know about about tapioca. I’ll give it a try. Beautiful country Croatia, and good cuisine. Cheers from Alaska!
It worked beautifully! And was yummy :) If I'd known how easy it was to make my own healthier flour alternative, I'd have done it years ago... Thank you! Half this recipe made a small breakfast of filled crepes for 2 people.
I wonder who in heavens gave the thumbs down to this fabulous healthy and delicious recipe. Chef, Everything I’ve learn from you is absolutely delicious, easy and simple to make, and above all, soooo healthy!
This recipe is legit🥶🥶Oh my gosh I have been struggling to make healthy pancakes for months. The 3 ingredient ones always fall apart and taste DISGUSTING and I just couldn’t find any other recipes. But Sasha seriously thank you so muchh because I made nearly 20 pancakes for my whole family and it tasted delicious. I don’t eat sugar so to sweeten it I added sweetener tablets and crushed them (0cal). This was so amazing and Yh the starch is super important as it thickens the mixture, I used farina potato starch and it worked just as well. Here are a few tips if these things happen to you: If you see a whole lot of clumps at the bottom of the mixture whilst adding the milk and water, heat it in the microwave for 1 minute (not too hot but warm 🤍) and mix in between those stages. You will feel the lumps dissolve more into the batter, I also suggest whisking it with a mixer but if you don’t have one you don’t need to. To probably avoid the lumps next time I would heat the water and milk before adding then heat the mixture as a whole. I used olive oil but a tinyy bit even though my pan was non stick🤣 Alsoo if you don’t want to make as much pancakes you might want to split it using ratio, I deffo want to make a smaller batch so if anyone wants the measurements for that, feel free to ask. They tasted amazing and yes could be either savoury or sweet, the only healthy pancake that tasted like a pancake💅🏾💅🏾 - Make sure to sieve and blend the oats - And Yh put in the fridge I put mine in for 20 mins as I did whisk it so it was thick (not too thick, crepe thick🤣),smooth and ready to go:) Thank you Sasha again, I’m so excited that this actually worked🥰
Hi there! Thanks so much for your amazing feedback! So glad you and your family enjoyed these healthier crepes! I appreciate all of your effort in sharing these tips with the community! Enjoy your weekend!
I tried this recipe using tapioca starch not cornstarch. Turned out so good. My first try with cornstarch failed for some reason. Healthy recipe, love it. 🙏
Wow good recipe, i can't wait to make it so healthy and delicious i can filled with any sweet or cream inside it works perfectly with any stuff.. thankyou
Lovely recipe. I also like to add oats, not grinned, in my vegetables-chicken soup. Oats do not have flavor so they can go with sweet or salty meals. How nutritious!
I love them ^^ I make oat crepes without starch and i let it rest at least 1 hr > it's the key to not fall apart. Last time i froze them with filling (cocoa and some sour cherry)
