Nice timing with this technique on painting the base. Good advice on the spray can use. Once upon a time I worked in a wood shop and the finishing, sanding, rub downs and seeing the wood grain finish pop out or the smooth finish of a paint job always gave a feeling of satisfaction. Enjoy,
Hi Sim, Great videa as per usual, thank you for sharing with us... Just to add, when using the chemical spray paints and not using a proper spray booth, after spraying it's best to leave it outside for a good couple of hours if you can, this helps with clearing the chem smell...
Excellent video Simon and some very sensible advice too. You are spot on, using those paints without a respirator is just asking for health problems that will haunt you if not kill you! I have always been a huge fan of your work and it will be great to see more of your video in the future. I hope all is well at hope and everybody is in good spirits. Take care buddy and of course, Have Fun, Joe
Sim, eagle eye me has spotted all of the different park dioramas in the background. Would love to see more on them. Did you cast a whole bunch of parts in different colours and put them together as a display. Looks great for what I can see of them.
He's back :) Great craftsmanship as always Simmo, there's no cutting corners with that stuff you have to do the work in between with the sanding to get the great end results. I couldn't agree more with you about putting effort into the base I have seen some awesome dio's sitting on top of a crappy bit of three ply or packing foam and it just hurts my heart to see :(
