0:30 i don’t get it, what if it's 7pm in the Sumer? Wouldn't the midpoint be in a different spot therefore it wouldn't point south? How do you know it ALWAYS points south, I just don’t get it.
Ohhhh is it because you always face the first line toward the sun? But even then doesn't the midpoint change? This is confusing me

Isn’t it beautiful, all of the ancient knowledge humans have struggled to figure out? Think of the man who figured this out, how many of his friends died doing the same, how his mother felt. Was he with a woman? How much did he love her? Did he fear to let her suffer? This information may be filled with passion and adventure and love and loss. It's crazy to think about
