I think this explains why some people fell into the covidism delusion and others didn’t
turns out taking a vaccine isn't "the mark of the beast". turns out superstition isn't a wise life guide.
Orthodox Christians we must be aware and watcful internally first to our soul to cleanse from passions and be faithful to Christ and also the externals. Externally includes the activities and actions some of these heretical hierarchs are doing against Christ and Truth. Know where you are! Vigilant and soberness is necessary. 🕊🙏🏼☦️ May God have mercy on us!!!

Those 1st century Christians who did not have the mark of the beast were those living in Jerusalem could not buy and sell. The apostle Paul asked for donations from the corinthians which they were happy to give for there christian brothers
How could they take up offerings if no Christians could buy or sell?

Donations were sent to Jerusalem . As he was in Asia Minor. The buying and selling had to do with the account of being in Babylon the great before she fell in 70 AD whom was Jerusalem ( the Jewish religious system )

St Ireneaus also believed in a 1000 year earthly reign which was refuted by a council called by St. Dionysius of Alexandria.
St. Ignatius believed the end was to come in their time as he warned the church to prepare as it was to come in their time.

St. Jerome translated 666 to 616 when translating the texts into Latin as the interpretation of the mark of the beast was a first century Roman Caesar.
I believe partial preterism is the more logical interpretation, these futurists interpretations are becoming more and more like the dispensationalist interpretation being put forth into the western congregations by our jwsh mason friends.
There are two continents and a major religion which were not yet known at the time of the writing.
