love bins, I live in Chicago so theres about... 0 bins. But when ever im in Michigan with my grandma its genuinely my favorite place, it closed for like 4 months but its open, and I'm over there this weekend :), are you trying to resell or just for fun. Oh wait these arn't the bins Im thinking of, still cool stuff though :P

A bin opened a few months ago in Romeoville, IL about a 50 minute drive from Chicago if it isn’t during rush hour.

Leather Jacket: You passed on the leather jacket. Would it have really been that expensive? Are people not into the vintage leather anymore? What does $80 spent at the bins translate to in sales?
Leathers hit or miss nowadays honestly. The thrift spots are filled with leather jackets now so theres not much profit to make on them unless its something really unique. Profit honestly depends. I try to aim for at least $15 profit per piece though!
Most things from my bins are $1.69 per pound, I normally sell them for 13-25 some go for more obviously just depends on the piece. My bins is a 2.5 hour trip there and 2.5 hours back but I load the car every time I go 😂 I’m lucky to have a cheap local thrift tho that does tops for $1.50 Buy one get one free, and pants $3 BOGO free, so I source there most days. They also don’t discriminate between brands. You can go find a carhartt Detroit and the most they’ll charge is $5 for it

I go to another bins in wisconsin that is 1 at a time, after you get used to figuring out the rotation pattern and you get a bin first OR sit behind someone you know isn't going for vintage, each bin I can find like 5 things atleast.
