i like gukesh, he has a steady outlook and maturity past his years
he is not flashy but he is disciplined almost like an engine. he does not move on intuition, but every move is about calculations. explains why he is so strong in classical but struggles a bit in the faster formats. one on one he is very hard to beat in classical. which means he probably will hold on to WC for quite some time.
@curio78 I mean, I do think Gukesh is the favorite to win right now but he does still have to take the title. And Ding is still Ding, grim as the last year has been for him.
