I dont really understand what happens after using this for 1 year and dont pay any annual fee for the next year. Because when you buy first time you already download all car models into the device so next year what happens if I dont update them because I need this just to check the cars while buying and the cars I am checking newest would be 2019 model. If I already downloaded all the cars data , that means a 2019 year cars test specs would be almost same next year but it matters if I buy a brand new car. Am I right ? I mean after 1 year can I still do a full system scan like transmission, engine etc and use birectional functions for all car types or all these functions stop working and this device turns to a simple cheap obd scanner ?
