I have made 2 or 3 diffuser for my yongnuo diffuser-godo using half side of badminton shuttlecock box . They are rounded and pretty rigid , just need to cup half of it then some part or design of your choice and then i feel it with what we called in french" papier craft" The paper you use to copy drawing ( they are a bit rigid and more solid than paper). And it does insane job . + i can put then with the light into the bag. You may want to check out ill make a tut next week
Good evening. One question: Does the 320 leds run either on 3200k or 5500k? I ask this because it gave me a very big doubt in which to buy this model YN360 or the model YN360W that is full in 5500k?
I will make some samples in the next days. The light works like before but the models can stare the light easier (it was almost impossible before). I taped the paper with simple transparent office tape.
Evan - Creative Tuts Very nice tip, man! P.S- Can you please tell us how strong are the RGB lights, please?? if you say that you get 7.5 stops on the max 100% daylight color, then how many stops do you get when the YN360 is set to RED? or Blue? ive heard these RGB modes arent so strong , and i wonder if i could use them from 2-3 meters away from my subject or not..? plz help!
Do you have any sample images? I have two YN360 and have found them to be wonderfully soft from two or more feet away. I would love to see some images of how much softer it is with the rice paper attached.
I found you don't need sticky tape. You can secure the paper into place by putting it in between the light and the tungsten differ at the back. The magnets lock the paper into place. Looks more professional too. Also use baking paper from your local supermarket.
Nice idea indeed but I am not sure how stable those magnets are. I think the tape is more stable. Also I don't know how much light the backing paper cuts. Thank you very much!
would the magnetic strip in the back hold it in place if you clipped the orange panel over it instead of taping it?
Thanks for the idea!
Thanks for your review. It helped me make up my mind to buy the YN360.
Thank you for posting this DYI. Its a great idea!
Brilliant! Thank you for this idea, I'm getting some rice paper tomorrow and maybe order a second YN360 since now I can diffuse them.
Fantastic thank you! Any samples yet? With the diffuser, can it compare to the Ice light 2? I mean are they equal in results?
Awesome!! will try this when i get it..thanks
Great idea! Thanks

Thank you very much Friend 👍👊

im struggling to find this rice paper. could you share a link for shopping online?
Do you have examples of this on a model ?
Did you just tape it to the light wand ?

Its very stable. I used it a 12 hour wedding no problem.
can someone send me a link to that rice paper roll please?
I feel they should have a snap on diffuser that's white for this too
I agree, until they'll do it, you can use this DIY trick! :)
This could've being a 30 second video, if you take the annoying guy out of it
Great
Wow! Can you get to the point!!!!
love the light...hate the app. doesn't work well on android devices
What the actual fuck. I'm 6 minutes in, and this dude is still talking in irrelevant circles... he hasn't even begun to show how he made a diffuser.
Και στα αγγλικά!!!!
dude you talk way to much.
