I debated going to the concert that night as I was fighting a very bad depression, but I loved TSO, so I talked myself into going. I was able to get front row seats and Watching Jennifer sing this song as her voice resonated throughout the whole auditorium was an experience I will never forget. I was a grown man weeping that night.
She does the same for me brother. The tears will come now and then as I play guitar along with her on this song. Lately, I've been in a very deep depression and something special popped up on my RUclips recommendations early January. Did you know she helped TSO West out this past Christmas for about 5 shows? She has not missed a beat and still sounds amazing. I wrote some compliments to her on RUclips and she responded back and gave thanks. Amazing singer, down to earth and humble. TSO took a timeless classic, composed around the late 1600’s, modernized it, and created one of the most moving pieces of music ever performed (IMHO). Jennifer’s powerful voice, made her version arguably the best. But, every version offers something special. Thanks for sharing !

I saw TSO live with my wife in 2006 and will never forget it. The wife has since passed, but this memory brings her back to me every Christmas. Someone said "TSO is special." That is an understatement.

Would've been even more awesome, Incredible, Amazing, and.... I can't think of any more descriptors if Long Island New York Lady Jennifer was still there. At least I get to hear Her on My Original "The Lost Christmas Eve" CD. Lovely, Awe Inspiring, Powerful, and just.... Truly The Voice of an Angel.
Saw the East Coast contingent every year from 1999 through 2008. In those days it was the likes of Alex Skolnik, Mark Wood, Joe Cerasano, the amazing Daryl Pediford and of course Jenn. After 2006 the show started changing. They were becoming popular, moved to large venues, people moved on and the show became a Megatron based light show. Not putting it down as the shows are still amazing in their own right. As good as Jen sounds in this clip it pales in comparison to seeing her live. To say she owned this song and Christmas Canon is an understatement. She would bring the house down every time.

+Jd Dehl Didn't get to go this year. It was a year or two ago with the ones that tried to change it the sound to replicate a lounge act or gospel/jazz singers that was a huge disappointment after seeing Jennifer master these songs.
Whatever happened to her? The most recent thing I found was a video from 2012 singing in a *wedding band*. Really?? With her talent? I always wanted a studio version of her performance of the live arrangement of "Promises to Keep". I doubt that will ever happen now. :(

The crowd in Cincy gave her such a loud applause that it brought her to tears big time. Towards the end she has a pause before going back into "brother" and she cried for at least a minute before gaining her composure and finishing the song. Awesome moment and awesome talent. Miss Erika!
