In summer 2013 he was finally granted a work-permit in England but he joined Olympiacos on another one-year deal from Arsenal to improve as a player even more. Not sure why exactly, but I really kept an eye on this one when we signed him. I've followed him the last three years, watching him whenever I can, and I've seen him grow from mostly a substitute in France, to a regular starter in Spain, to one of the best players in Greece. I commend him for his adaptability and his steady improvement. This season, I've seen him scoring all kinds of goals and getting all kinds of assists, and has generally looked a very good player. His fantastic goal against Manchester United was just the icing on the cake. He offers attributes that the Arsenal attack have recently been lacking (admittedly without Ozil, Walcott, Ramsey and Wilshere, mind). Pace, skill, movement and directness. I had hopes that he would, at a bare minimum, be involved in Arsenal's pre-season programme, so we could take a look at him, see how he fits in with the offers and see what he would bring to the squad, and what he can offer. I have read that Wenger is keen to add him to the Arsenal squad when he returns from his loan, with a real possibility of Lukas Podolski being sold. Whilst I hope the first part about Joel Campbell is true, I really hope the second part about Podolski is not. It is about time Arsenal found some success from South America again.

Great comment buddie, he has a smooth touch of the ball, totally ´´Latino´ style, in front of three defenders he is going to do some magic making his way out, His game It´s plain great and smooth, and He is just a 21 years old baller, so his future in a great league as the Premier is going to worth to watch, and we´ll all see what this guy could do, which is a bunch as far as I can see from his game.

He would do fantastic in arsenal as an attacker or winger he would be effective. His passes are really smooth and he has a good chance of scoring and his crosses are pretty damn good.
Arsenal needs to bring this guy back! He will be a good sub or even starter . More importantly he add more depth to the team.
Ryo, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott, Gnabry, potentially another player coming in January or the summer. Doubt he'll be given a chance but I'd be glad to see him play. Hopefully doesnt end up like vela

Why are all those people calling Joel Campbell a "dirty" player just because a single dive he did in his entire career (or at least the only one seen all over the Internet)??
The dive happened, indeed it was a dirty action, but it was just once as far as I know.
Why to judge a 21 y.o. guy's entire career for that action?
If he's dirty for just one dive, so are many other players that I don't think deserve that unfair adjective as well.
All that hate became because he scored a top class goal against the usa team, I know that it was a dirty play but trust me I was on the stadium watching him play on that day and a couple of guys from usa were doing fouls and bothering. Just in case he´s a top class player even for his young age! Salx´s you are totally right mate!

Joel Campbell's passing skills is good. He will be good if played as a winger, attacking midfielder. But as a striker, I think his finishing and positioning needs to improve

his weakness is his shot power he isnt like a winger often used in the middle in clubside pls watch him when playing for country then u know its not his weakness not even shot power cause his shot depends more on technique so no significant weakness

Why not? We need to rotate Walcott often cuz he is injury prone and Ox will play on the left wing if cazorla leaves. That would make our wings multi-talented. Can play Walcott in strike is another possibility of his importance increasing.
because there are only but so many starting spot available at arsenal...right now we have carzola, ozil, walcott, ox,padolski, and rosicky all rotating that attacking midfield/wing player role.....and that isn't even counting guys like gnabry who are waiting in the wings...and even if one or two of the players i mentioned leave I would assume they would be replaced by other world class players
