soooo I’ve been trying to push how long I’ve been doing my retwists 😭 I try to stay within the 4-6weeks only cause my parts get all tangled and it hurts bad af. I waited 6weeks and I wanted to cry when I had to wash it.
yes the first time I bleach I put a protector by opalex on first and only lifted my color for 15-20mins. The next time that's when I really left it on there for the right amount of time. If you have bleached your hair already before and know your hair tolerance then go for it. if not, then wait a few days before bleaching again. Ive bleached and colored my hair over the course of 5 years so much I know my tolerance for my hair.
I had so many people asked and I should've did a tutorial. Make sure the hat you want to use is cheaper and the material is thin in case you mess up or don't like it. Next you go to the top of the hat and about a inch and a half make a slight cut do the same on the other side. then put it on and see is that how you want it. then cut the slit down about a inch and then cut that into a circle and you should be able to do the two buns or ponytails.
Do you experience any breakage? I’m like a dark copper because I only left the bleach on 15 minutes because I chickened out now it’s copper color but I want the ash blonde I just don’t want my locs to fall out Lol! I’m 2 years and 3 months in
I’m sorry I’m just now seeing this. But yes I have. When I first started my locs my hair was damaged and thinning out so when I bleached my locs this time I knew I needed protective items and biotin shampoo to keep it healthy. My locs haven’t been this healthy not even when I first started. That biotin shampoo and strengthening hair masks really helps as well especially before and after you color or bleach. Now my hair is still thinning because I haven’t separated my locs in over a year so my parts are intertwined with one another. Go to someone after dying and get a retwist so your parts and everything is perfect to withstand your healthy locs. That’s what I regret. Also Color loosens the pattern of your hair and those loose roots could combine with your other locs and you’ll never know until a few months in.
Whether she experienced breakage or not doesn't affect whether or not you will...If YOUR hair is healthy enough, you wont have breakage. If its weak, you might.

So did you do your second bleach on the same day?? I just dyed my hair and wanna bleach it to get the shade I’m going for
