Long time ago in the sixties, where warehouse still stands, cargoes unloaded from “ cargos ship” at the end of Singapore’s river. I still remember the sampans on the river. There was a mom and pop Teochew porridge cart. This is the only place I had Teochew porridge, across the bridge on the Pulau Saigon road. Lots of memories of the old time by the Singapore river. Uncle, keep it up.
I was introduced to this stall by my ex-colleague (who had passed on years ago) and has continue to patronize the stall whenever I am in town. Delicious. Worth recommending.
