Did anyone else panic when they saw the subtitles?! Ahhhhh ones on concerts are typically never right because they are auto generated & sometimes people randomly throw crap in there. Glad you enjoyed the concert video though! It is every ARMYs dream to make it to a live performance!
Yes, I panicked too... It's not malicious people, though. Auto-generated subs are transcripts of sound for deaf people by a computer program. So when your default language is English, the program basically "tries to understand" English words from the sounds - but BTS speak Korean. So the result is just gibberish.

I die every time Kito pauses and Naomi looks at him like "You are messing up my groove!" I'm glad you like BTS. I'm an old rap and hip hop head and all the "new" stuff in the US was just not appealing for the most part. Mumble rappers, every song about the club, bitches and tons of the same stuff we've heard over and over again for about 15 yrs. Of course a few different bright spots but mostly the same stuff. BTS and several other Korean rappers aren't surrounded by our culture so they can talk about new things but their flows and beats feel like home. Some kpop rappers are a great mixture of East and West

Oh no, when I realized you had the auto-generated subs on... I had tried so hard to save you from making that mistake but I guess you had just too many comments to read. Auto-generated subs are transcripts of sound for deaf people. By the way, you can still get resale tickets when they sell out. The floor ones are the ones that get crazy expensive. Just get offical resale like Ticketmaster, I got my seat in the section right above floor for like $180 on resale after they had already been sold out for a couple weeks. And it was still an absolutely amazing show despite how cold it was. Also kpop concerts arent like any I've ever been to before in terms of the fans themselves. Make sure to check Twitter regularly for the day you are going on for any fan projects and fan meets at the venue with freebie trading and all that. The fellow fans amd this culture make it a super amazing and memorable experience too.
I agree. I got two resale tickets a week before my concert and I got two-floor seats for $120 each. Which was a lot cheaper than what they originally went for. I have never experienced anything like a BTS concert.

I don't understand where this "bts isn't kpop" trend started and why, but it's weird.
They're kpop artists just like every other Korean artist/group that does pop music.
Just because they are different from other kpop groups doesn't mean they don't belong in kpop.
Li A All the members call themselves kpop and kpop does stand for "korean popular music" so essentially all korean songs that play on the popular radio could be called kpop.
I do agree with all that you're saying but I'm stubborn and I'll still call them kpop lol 🙃
They're just a very flexible group that often doesn't fit in the definition that most people have of kpop.
Also you made a good point about how people are trying to get the point across to biased people, I feel like that's very true. Which is why we should change and extend the aspect of kpop being purely only pop, rather than making bts an exception.
@@awae00 I never said kpop is a bad thing, you shouldn't take offense. I say that because while they have songs that can fit into the kpop genre, they also have songs that fit into multiple genres. While they have songs that fit into the kpop genre, labeling them as a kpop band isn't fair. Why? Because a lot of their songs isn't pop music. It's "popular" music so people think that that's all there is to being labeled as "pop music". That is incorrect and there are criteria in order to be categorized into certain genres.
The reason why the "bts isn't kpop" trend came about is because BTS as artists created certain songs not with kpop in mind, but to be certain kind of artists, such as rnb, hiphop, and rap. Don't you think we should be fair to them as artists to label their songs the way they wished their songs to be labeled to specific genres based on how they were written with that genre in mind?

The first time I watched this performance I sat with my mouth open. Then when it was done, I watched it again. I'm 34, seen a lot of acts, big names, nobody holds a candle to BTS. I wish they could see themselves through our eyes.

But yeah, I'm with everyone else, Outro:Tear is a masterpiece, as is Seesaw (Suga), Joke (RM), Daydream (J-Hope), and Hiphop Lover/Phile, which is where they throw out the names of famous rappers who influenced them. Also, just so you get a little more diversity, since I can tell you enjoy stuff outside of just the hiphop, I'd suggest Stigma (V), Boy Meets Evil (J-Hope), Lie (Jimin), Airplane Pt. 2 (latin flavor), The Truth Untold (sad ballad), and House of Cards (blues).
Told you you’d love it! Side note. Suga was super sick during this and still had all of that energy. First time i watched this performance, I watched it at least a dozen times in a row.

Hope u guys understand why BTS is the biggest thing in the planet now. Many non fans think we only go crazy for their visuals. Their visual is just a bonus. Their music is the main dish. They serve us everything. Frm hiphop to rnb to jazz to edm to funk pop to rock and all of them have deep message like self love. They are the best musicians,creators and performers I've ever seen.

Fun fact kito, J-hope initially was NOT a rapper, he was suppose to debut in bts as a vocalist, but the group needed a third rapper, as RM and Suga were already rappers, they both actually taught J-hope how to rap! He had no experience in rap whatsoever, only dance.

They are at their best Live!! Their concert usually over 2 hrs long and they sang at least over 25 songs. That's plus dancing..... These boys are the best of the best. I'm so glad that so many people finally realized their talent. I was an army since day one and seeing them now. I'm just very proud of these boys.
