I'm an old rap and hip hop head and all the "new" stuff in the US was just not appealing for the most part. Mumble rappers, every song about the club, bitches and tons of the same stuff we've heard over and over again for about 15 yrs. Of course a few different bright spots but mostly the same stuff. BTS and several other Korean rappers aren't surrounded by our culture so they can talk about new things but their flows and beats feel like home. And it was still an absolutely amazing show despite how cold it was. Also kpop concerts arent like any I've ever been to before in terms of the fans themselves. Make sure to check Twitter regularly for the day you are going on for any fan projects and fan meets at the venue with freebie trading and all that. The fellow fans amd this culture make it a super amazing and memorable experience too.
I agree. I got two resale tickets a week before my concert and I got two-floor seats for $120 each. Which was a lot cheaper than what they originally went for. I have never experienced anything like a BTS concert.

They're kpop artists just like every other Korean artist/group that does pop music. Just because they are different from other kpop groups doesn't mean they don't belong in kpop.

Fun fact kito, J-hope initially was NOT a rapper, he was suppose to debut in bts as a vocalist, but the group needed a third rapper, as RM and Suga were already rappers, they both actually taught J-hope how to rap! He had no experience in rap whatsoever, only dance.

As a fellow fan who has attended one of their concerts, seeing them live is like a whole other experience. Probably the BEST concert I've ever gone to. The music, the production, the pyrotechnics, the fans, the light bombs synching with the performances. Im still in awe a year later. Once in a lifetime!

As a fellow fan who has attended one of their concerts, seeing them live is like a whole other experience. Probably the BEST concert I've ever gone to. The music, the production, the pyrotechnics, the fans, the light bombs synching with the performances. Im still in awe a year later. Once in a lifetime!
