My dad bought me the Tirpitz (in World of Warships) last year, at 45 Euro. In my opinion, this time, it's a much more reasonable price, especially due to its advantages. I absolutely love that ship. I used to think the Tirpitz and the Bismarck were the same, they're not: Tirpitz offers a slightly larger HP pool and torpedoes, while Bismarck offers better AA defense and Hydroacoustic Search. If you have a Tirpitz, and you want it for an AA build, to be on par with your counterparts, you first need to: 1. Install AA Guns Modification 2, which significantly improves the AA defense, from 53 to 63 (according to the current statistics) 2. Use a catapult fighter more often, while collecting points for your captain. 3. Earn enough XP for the skills Basic Firing Training (increasing the AA statistic from 63 to 69) and Advanced Firing Training, boosting the AA defense from 69 to 81 (the key upgrade to the AA defense). And 4. To top it off, collect enough XP for the skills Superintendent and Expert Marksman.

No! The Bismarck was NOT sunk by a torpedo. I know, the Brits keep saying that but it is not true. The german crew sunk it by opening the flood valves because the situation was hopeless. The Torpedoes of the Brit cruiser did no damage to the hull at all.

1. Not, she was not immune to 14" shells. 3 shells from PoW went right through her citadel and caused two boilers to flood and a fuel tank to be pierced and prompted Bismarck's retreat. The British ships were too close at the time and couldn't aim their guns low enough to hit the hull, as many of their shells kept skipping across the sea and slamming into the superstructure. Scharnhorst was armoured better than the Bismarck and got slapped around by Duke of York. The Bismarck-Class were outdated designs with quickly outclassed equipment. 2. She had nowhere NEAR the most advanced AA guns of the time.
Atago FTW! Sexiest and most devastating! But, then, I'm not a big BB player, and am much happier with my decision to get the Atago, Atlanta, and Blyscawica recently! Atago, well everyone knows about her! Blyscawica is properly named Lightning, she is very fast, and he guns have the same velocity as light! Very much like having half the Atlanta on a small, fast, hard to detect DD with MUCH more useful torpedoes! And Atlanta, my GOD can she be endless fun to play! She has to be sailed and engage in very specific ways to come out ahead, but once you learn those tactics, only the map Open Ocean can stop her!
Brandenburg has the same purpose as Tirpitz but 15% smaller Hp pool, small Caliber of 12 305mm guns and short range. But the pros have numerous artillery guns, Torpedoes, and stronger AA defenses

38mm? even Panzer VI uses 88mm or 8.8cm. Its 381mm or 38.1cm not 38mm
