Don’t ride old forge yet but we ride in Caroga lake NY. Think it’s relays cool to have both cameras and to blog while riding. Keep it up 👍
Right on! Thanks for watching Glenn.
My memories are flooding back from that whole area when you left Christy's That Old Mill Restaurant was awesome back in the day I don't know if it's still that way great video as usual I see you're picking up a lot of subscribers I hope there's more Old Forge riding to come thanks again for the video
Thanks Chuck! I'm headed to Maine in the morning for an Epic week of riding! We'll have to see about Old Forge after I get back. Plus, I still have February 4th and 5th in Old Forge to edit and post.
How long has it been since you've ridden in Old Forge?
@@Paisteboy right around 2002 was the last time I was riding in Old Forge I had a house on Hollywood Hills I'm from Connecticut and my friend from across town both of us had houses on Hollywood Hills next door to each other and another friend of mine's wife lived about 10 houses away from my house on Hollywood Hills which is basically South Shore Road I started dropping about 1,000 a weekend and have two houses in Connecticut and it just got to be too much a friend of mine from my town has a house right by the Old Mill and my brother rides up there occasionally with his kids you guys are very similar to me it would be good to hook up sometime I'm a little older at 60 my brother wasn't too happy this year having floor for sleds registered and not been able to ride till just recently with the insurance and all should be four sleds not floor I miss the writing but hard to justify getting back into when I'm approximately six and a half hours away but some of the best times in my life happened in that area I could tell you stories for hours and the best part is they're all true it seems like every weekend was an adventure barely any cell phone service or GPS I used to like to night ride those trails with a brand new Polaris Indy 650 I had three new sleds up there at different times from Don's Polaris schedule wasn't big back then like it is now I was getting out of it right when the REV chassis was really taking off my buddy that just died believe it or not had 18 brand new sleds or at least Nearly New all set mainly for drag racing and he passed away unexpectedly last year random heart attack all his slats were skidoos mainly 800 or more CC sub with custom built engines it would take me a while to explain it but I had the most radical ride of my life in Maine 4 guys and a literally a $10,000 weekend I remember it like it was yesterday enjoy your riding and be safe I could tell by the speed you're riding that you are very safe on the trails I'm patiently waiting your new videos Chuck
@@W2HTLCA I don't remember Howard Johnsons argue reverberating my 1988 Indy 4 00 brand new and thinking I was the man those were white and red before that I had a 1976 Rupp 440 thanks sure have changed good times though thank you for your memories Chuck
@@chuckb9867 Sorry for the loss of your friend, sorry if I am being disrespectful can I ask if your friend sold the sleds over the years or did he save them as he collected them. My brother has started a collection of stock and modified skidoos. Thanks
@@W2HTLCA mine was a red twin carburetor 440 Rupp when I put new fuel pumps on it ran like a raped ape for the time.
Forge, forge. Rinse and repeat. You guys need new trails. Come to MI UP I’ll show you some real big mile loops
Unfortunately it's the only place worth going with snow this season for us.
I'm actually in Maine right now. Today will the first day of riding. I'll be here all week.
Awesome footage!Really miss local riding this season. Hopefully some late season snow for the northeast..
Thanks for your efforts 🤟
Thanks Jason! Yeah. Maybe another cold spell with some snow before the season ends.
Wow trail 5 was that smooth. Normally it's really rough.
Yeah. True. Thanks for watching Stew.
Another great video, didn’t know the lakes were solid enough for riding with all the melt off we’ve had. Too bad I had to cancel my trip this week 😕. Stay safe brother.
Yeah. It was definitely frozen and rideable. Too bad about your trip.
Thanks drbobvs.
north street to trail #1 then you'll make a left on trail#3
Close. It's a right on trail 3. Thanks for watching James.
@@Paisteboy I stand corrected you're right!
Where and what is the 360 camera on your sled?
It's an insta360 on the handlebars.
@@Paisteboy THANK YOU!! LOVE THE VIDEOS.
Thanks MG3!
How hard is it to edit the 360 footage?
It's not too hard but very time consuming. It has to be pre-edited before you can use it in your regular edit.
