I am extremely happy with all the Morgan Dollars I got from You DAN..!!..took a while before I got them since I live in canadian northwest but sure enjoy having them in my hands now and they are beautiful..!!!!!
My first trip to Washington DC in the mid 70’s as a kid, my parents took me to the Smithsonian, and I remember seeing their 1804 Draped Bust dollar, and being in awe 💜
I watched a video of yours from 3 years ago the other day. Guess what ? I Still learned something. Thanks for sharing all the great information Daniel.
As only a collector, I have seen at least 5 of the 1904' s.They hardly require a second glance though, for any of the drape bust.I have only seen one, an 1800 that I thought was a pretty good fake., but still recognizable as such.I have seen alot of these on E- bay, and I always post warnings. The sellers take the warnings down quickly, but I repost just as fast. They soon take the coins down, but it takes persistence to stop them. Thanks for another great video Daniel.Have yourself a nice day.Your friend Harry Bond.Waterloo, Iowa.
Whenever I hear of a 'draped bust', I think of that scene from Gone With The Wind when Scarlett made a dress out of drapes. Rhett wasn't fooled though, that was counterfeit too.
@@CoinHELPu Could you please provide me with your email, so I can send you the photo? I believe it is an original, but I would like to know its estimated value
I was just wondering how to tell I know a lady got to 1700 Silver Dollar liberty and she had another long time and I was just trying to figure out if they are fake or not. She wants to sell them to me and she asked me what price I do not know so I offered her $100 if they fake so that’s what I want to know how to test I can do at home
How can I tell if my peace dollars are counterfeit I think I have four or five of them they all seem to weigh properly but one has a lot of chop marks which leads me to believe it’s counterfeit can you help me with this thank you
So I rescently sold one to a coin dealer. I found it weird looking back after watching this that he didn't do any test of anything on it to see if it was fake.
I know I have watched most of them LoL still learning.....why are people so obsessed with making counterfeit money it's problematic for people learning.
just buy graded coins and avoid raw. no need for spending money on non-essentials like weight machines etc. be smart with your money. don't buy garbage coins that have no future value.

Thank you for saving my reputation!

Good Evening Daniel!!🍷 A person who counterfeits is a counterfeit person!!!
Thank you Daniel ! Have to know what you are buying ! When I get into buying these, I'll make sure they are authenticated/slabbed.
Be sure and familiarise yourself with slabs too, as our Chinese friends are most inventive…

Yes!
Never buy a draped bust dollar on eBay if it is "RAW"

Hello from the great state of Michigan
Thank you Daniel good video
the other day i saw one of those coins on CL for 4K, but it looked fake as heck so i stayed away from it.
Some of these the look is comical, and as you said some are better than others.
Very interesting
Good afternoon Daniel, great video
Great advice
I recently came across a bunch of these coins i got for a dollar each.
great channel, thank you
One of the most counterfeited silver coins was the Draper silver dollar!! Just a fun fact for ya!! Cheers TraxNYC
I collect them.
Very helpful 🥂👏👏
You can tell that that's counter fit. Just look at the nose.
Hey i have that coin but mine says 1797 on it. It's doesn't stick on the magnet. I think it's really. But i can't sell it in my country.
I just ordered a scale, but it won't calibrate. I am so frustrated.
Scary!
So what will a magnet do if the coin is authentic? Will the fake not be attracted but the authentic attracted?
Silver isn’t magnetic
1795 Liberty silver coin value?
Could you please take a look at this photo of a coin? I would like to know if it is an original and what its estimated value is.

Are magnets and scales going to be enough?
Nope
Fakes like these are offered to me every week. Also, it is really time consuming to explain to the clients that they are fake... :)
I was watching your video if you use a magnet if it is fake, what will it do
Most of the time, nothing.
Cuanto pesa el dolar de 1795 el silver
I have a 1800 silver drape burst dollar
So I rescently sold one to a coin dealer. I found it weird looking back after watching this that he didn't do any test of anything on it to see if it was fake.
If you know your coins then you can spot fakes by the die pairs that struck them.
@@CoinHELPu fair enough. Well hopefully he knows his coins.
MINE CAME FROM THE CHINESE WISH ORDER APP😂
Isn't just about any US coin with value been counterfeited?
Yep
My uncle has been collecting these for 50 years
I don't know if there fake or not
I have this coin want to sell.

Many are made in Thailand.

Actually they both have reeded edges , which is first thing I check

Some counterfeit coins are in counterfeit slabs. Scales and magnets don't cost much.
