Such an illuminating analysis - I was trying to squeeze some profits out of altcoins over the next month despite the markets trading sideways after a 10% plunge, but you convinced me to stay in cash for the time being. p.s. Why do most altcoins march in lockstep w/ BTC? On Coingecko's 7-day charts, most alts plunged +10% in lockstep w/ BTC (followed by sideways trading since then). How is that possible? Why do so few alts exhibit independent price action from BTC? I understand your point re: BTC whales setting price, but, why do most altcoins seem to move in lockstep w/ BTC? Aren't there enough traders to move those markets in different directions from BTC? I know BTC is king (at the moment), but can you help me understand the lack of divergence btwn altcoins and BTC? LOVE your analyses - the most comprehensive on the planet, and (apart from the Pizzino Bros.), it's not particularly close!
