Very interesting about marl pits. Where I hail from (Rossendale, Lancs) there's a Marl Pits Leisure Centre and running track. I've found this definition: "a pit from which marl, a mixture of clay and carbonate of lime, is excavated. Marl was commonly used as a fertilizer and marl pits were at one time considered a valuable resource." I had no idea! Just shows you what a boring time people must often have on a film set! Laura
Haha, yes, Marl pits were the medieval Scouse Farm Compost (but not as good naturally) 😉. You will probably start noticing the name around where you live now. There are 'Marley/Marled Woods' dotted about in Lancashire and Cheshire. Thanks for watching, I'll be going back there in Summer to film the park and farm area so stay tuned.
I love these old buildings, they have so much more character than what's going up these days! Hope that lame horse was looked after. Watching from Australia (originally from South Wales), old buildings and graveyards are my thing! Your content is awesome, just subbed. Take care, Deb of Oz.
Thank you very much Deb. From South Wales to 'New South Wales' haha. I'm going back to work next week so I'll try and find more interesting buildings. There's a lot of them on my 'places of interest' playlist so have a look ata few of them until I find some new ones. Thanks for watching and Subscribing! Hopefully a few of your Australian friends will watch my videos too.
That poor dog you trod on will be standing on three legs now, just like that lame horse……. That’s a beautiful building, there’s been a few fires there. If you ever get the opportunity to go inside, take it, you won’t be disappointed.
I'll be going back in Summer to film the Victorian Walled Garden in the Park, I'll definitely pay for the inside tour. Yes, the worst fire was in 1952 and destroyed the West Wing. It was then renamed the Queen Anne Suite after a £400k refurbishment. Looking forward to going back in the summer months (not during a half-term) :)
@@shill7307 I have great Luck on horses, I won £1200 at Haydock in 2010 once. Had no idea what I was doing but I liked the look of a horse and it won as a massive outsider. Apart from that, I know nothing :)
Honestly, I wouldn't have a clue, I tried looking on the Croxteth Hall website but I think they've been hacked because it opened a 'dodgy' advert instead :)
Did I hear right, you do not have a tv, but presumably you have internet access. Did I mishear you perhaps? Horses stand like that to rest. Kids are not 'creatures' surely.
You heard correct. No TV at all, sold it in 2020 and have never watched a single TV programme since. Only have an Internet account to use RUclips. Thanks for the tip on the Horses, thought the poor fella had twisted his ankle :)
Will definitely have to pay a visit on of your best videos.Just great 👍 thank you for sharing.Good luck to Liverpool tonight .🌈🌈🌻🌻🌻🎵🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
Thank You Diane, it was a difficult video dodging Dogs and kids on bikes :) Glad you enjoyed it. We'll win tonight!

@@ScouseFarm No longer in that area but lots of family are. I'll keep my eyes peeled next time I visit.

Thanks for watching. Appreciate it.
House of Guinness is being filmed in town atm, maybe that.
Cheers Andy, yes that's what it is. I'll go back there in summer next year and get a closer look. Thanks for watching.

BTW the horses are just fine. It's a resting leg position. Keep up the good work. But avoid betting (or commenting) on horses.

Maybe Guinness- about the Guinnes family

Yes House of Guinness, the carriages look like the same ones from when they filmed at St Georges Hall,
@@juliej9999 Thanks Julie. Might have a Guinness now just to pay homage 🍻
