Is it weird that as I was watching this, I thought of things from some of my fave shows that I'd put in with certain parts from the lyrics? ("We'd rather die than do it your way" sounds so much like the scene where Robin of Loxley shoots his last arrow, breaks his bow, and then dies just like his father did, pierced by many crossbow bolts at once, but still defiant to his last breath, in RoS episode The Greatest Enemy. The show's old as f***, but that scene's just so damn powerful. And I think maybe the Musketeer Garrison being destroyed in s3e10 of the Musketeers could go nicely with either "We never quite thought we could lose it all" or "An empire's fall in just one day / You close your eyes and the glory fades"...)
