Zeros of Polynomial Functions

A root or a zero of a polynomial are the value(s) of X that cause the polynomial to = 0 (or make Y=0). It is an X-intercept. The root is the X-value, and zero is the Y-value. It is not saying that imaginary roots = 0.

the 3rd one if u subtract 81-117 it will be -36 and -36 and -36 is -72

The third one is supposed to be equals to zero as well because the last equation will be 81-117+36. So basically, it's one of the polynomial's zeros as well. :))

Yah, I agree too. Because -117-(-36)= -81
-81+81=0. It's also a zero of the poly.

the 36 is negative so it's 81-117-36 and the answer is supposed to be -72 and he mistaken it for positive 72

Not sure but I think you'll need to factor it out, but this function is hard to factor because as you can see you cannot factor this out because it's already in its simplest form
